So I've been good this year and my fiancé is letting me buy some big boy toys...just for some help anyone who has built one of these or something close too it is it safe to assume I'm going to have to pin the d**n thing with brass rods and mount it on a trophy stand? Also, are there any other warnings before I go ahead and order this thing?

jut that as awesome as those things are..... you will rarely use it. Unless of course your group does a lot of apocalypse. I sold my a'ggar'nath because nobody wanted to play with him on a regular basis. Bill has a warhound that collects dust. It mostly comes out at adepticon...mostly.

We do actually get a decent amount of guys playing apoc every couple of months, usually the hobbit will set up an event for a massive game of apoc 3-4 times a year..also my buddy has a reader and war hound with the several thousand points of bangels he has..I just want the piece for a part of the collection as well because I don't have anything else left to collect from the eldar line lol so with every codex option I'd like to add in some apoc super heavies

As long as you'll get enjoyment(whether in game or purely collecting) out of something that expensive then go for it!! And I would assume pinning is a must

I'm not sure about the Eldar titans, but I know it's recommended cutting the legs of the large Tyranid titan and driving pins down the spindly legs. The width of the Eldar titan legs may be greater, therefore would better support the weight of the model.
I'd check out a few tutorials first.
