I think that Doug has convinced me to try to be ready for the Daboyz GT, though I'm not quite sure how the heck I'll have everything converted/painted by then.
First of all, I have far too many questions to list, and second I have a lot to do.
I'm going to give it a go though, so I'll be at Boldo's this Sunday. Anyone who can be available for constructive criticism and advice would be most appreciated.

Bring a paint brush, models and paint. Your painted army starts with your first painted figure, then squad, before you know it your're done!

I'll bring my painting supplies. No laughing at my poor man's solution to model painting, it doesn't involve much from GW or citadel. I'm actually almost done with a few of my jump troops (finally), but feel like they're still missing something.

Do what I do, check all the homeless shelters! For the price of a ham sandwich you can have your whole army painted. I choose the kids that you find spraying graffiti, they seem to be good artists!

I'll bring an army with me along with my paints in case there's an odd man out who needs a game.

I'd like to play, but need to spend some time with "the pros" to figure out what the heck I'm doing with painting. Maybe I can sneak in on Thursday, if my boss lets me.

I think I have a game with Tammy and John that day but I am sure that I will be painting afterwards as well. I do want to encourage the painting and offer help to anyone who is prepping for the tourney.

Not sure which way I'll go on Sunday, but I will be there, and I am more than willing to help either with painting or tactics. Hopefully Laura will step up and answer my challenge, in which case I'd be painting after. But she as been strangely silent the past few days. I do hope Tom didn't scare her off.

I think this is why I've been working on the same 5 models for 3-4 weeks now. I'm constantly looking them over thinking, "What else do you need?" And I was hoping to get past that. Ah well...
