It might just be me, but I've been seeing more and more posting with poeple griping at each other. It's odd because i don't really notice discussions getting this heated when we are together gaming. Only here on the board. Is it something about the impersoanl nature of BBs that lends itself to escalation? Might I suggest that if a post burns you up and you want to rip into the poster, step away from the computer for a bit. Come back later and re-read the post to see if it still bothers you quite as much. Maybe you missed something the first time. Maybe you just need time to think out a calm response. Or maybe it will still burn you up and you can rip into them then jst as easily, possibly even better after having time to think of all the nasty things you want to say. *grin*
Doesn't bother me either way. Mostly just an observation.

I think what happens here on the boards is fishing. There are a few people that throw the bait and sometimes they get a fish. They never reel the fish, but they play with it and jerk it around. We certainly have our "Expert" fisherman and we all know who they are. I'm ok with it because I know when we get together we are all amicable and dare I say friends. Besides these boards would be pretty boring without our friendlt neighborhood fisherman....

I agree. The reason I mention it though is because it seems that over the past week, the replies have become much more heated and often seem to be angry. It's a bit of a shift. Not to mention that there seems to be more in the way of personal attacks.

Yeah. I did notice the personal attacks and slight inuendos. Its just like when you play too rough with your brother, eventually it turns into a real fight...

Like the Mallard Duck and Peacoc k, the wigger male will go to great lengths to secure a mate. This young wigger, for instance, has donned a vibrant all pink outfit to ensure success during the mating season. In this case, the flamboyant color scheme serves the dual purpose of both helping him get noticed by females in heat and distracting other males who will be too busy beating his ass to steal any of his mates. A borderline suicidal strategy, but successful nonetheless.

IF THE "FISHING DRAGON" DIDN'T POST AT ALL, THE PROBLEM WILL STILL EXIST, JUST CHECK THE HISTORY OF THIS WEBSITE, AND WHO DOMINATES AND ALWAYS MUST HAVE THE LAST WORD. THIS WEBSITE IS NO LONGER THE PROPERTY OF DABOYZ. IT'S BEEN CLAIMED BY ANOTHER, (AND IT AIN'T ME). THATS WHY YOU HAVE 58 MEMBERS AND ONLY A HAND FULL WILLING TO LOG IN. JUST CHECK THE POSTING, AND YOU'LL SEE FOR YOUR SELVES POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND IDEAS CHANGED TO NEGATIVE ONES OVER & OVER AGAIN. AND AS ALWAYS HAVE A NICE DAY P.S. I HOPE "DABOYZ" GET THEIR WEBSITE BACK.

The sad thing is that Norton's Levity fits. It's really kind of scary.
I have to agree with Aufar more manly than me. Dragon, you are just as guilty as the other you implied. I'm not a big fan of personal attacks of any kind. Smack talk for the fun of it is one thing, but discussing pros and cons of a GAME should not get this nasty. It's a GAME for crying out loud. Lighten up, have fun, and if you don't like it, play another GAME. Leave the flame wars for the tabletop.

YOUR WRITE I POST TO MUCH, BUT I ALWAYS START OUT WITH A POSITIVE, MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ THE WAY MY POSTINGS START. I'M SORRY, I BELIEVE ONE POSTING WAS TO KEEP YOU RANGER DUDE FROM DRIVING TO A TOURNEY THAT NOT EXIST AND MOST OF MY POSTINGS ARE FOR THURSDAY NIGHT CHALLENGES. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS JUST STATING WHAT'S THERE. ACTUALLY LOOKING BACK KNOW, I GUESS I'M THE ONLY THAT ACTUALLY HAS BALLS. I KNEW I WAS DIFFERENT SOME HOW! THANKS, AND HAVE A NICE DAY! I'M NEVER CRANKY, I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT AT END OF THE TUNNEL TWICE IN MY LIFE, AND THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY FECKLESS ENDEAVOR!

There seems to be a lot of negative discussion lately.
What my mom use to say "If you can't say nothing nice, then say nothing at all"

Never once did I say anyone posted too much. I could care less how much anyone posts. I'm the sixth highest at this point, so where would I have any right to comment on post numbers. What I'm saying is that some people, you included Dragon, have started putting up posts that seem to be attacks against others, and that they seem to be going beyond the smack talk we usually get. YOU JUST DON'T GET IT! GO BACK AND READ ALL THE CRAP YOU'VE WRITTEN DAY AFTER DAY. AND THEN MAYBE YOU'LL REALIZE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE REALLY THINK OF YOU, OR WHAT THEY PUT UP WITH. BUT I'M BETTING, YOU JUST DON'T GET! I HAVE NO TROUBLE BEING WRONG, IT'S JUST A GAME! AND WHEN IT COMES TO DIAPERS,WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY USE? HAVE A NICE DAY AND TRY REAL HARD NOT TO HAVE THE LAST WORD, I BET YOU CAN'T DO IT! Look familiar. Looks like an attack to me. I'm not saying it's your fault. I'm pointing out a trend in the hopes of heading it off. I bet some of the members who don't log on often are driven away by the senseless bickering. ACTUALLY LOOKING BACK KNOW, I GUESS I'M THE ONLY THAT ACTUALLY HAS BALLS. I KNEW I WAS DIFFERENT SOME HOW! THANKS, AND HAVE A NICE DAY! And this was uncalled for. This strikes me as an attack on all of us. I now you like to fish, but you need to keep it in line. If we are such ball-less individuals, how can we stand up to you. I don't think any of us has backed down from you yet. At most we delay the acceptance of one of your challenges due to life matters. And as a side note, the Coyotes Den Tourney does exist. They just haven't updated their page. Talked to them today.

See, there's three kinds of people: thingys, girl thingys, and not a very nice persons. girl thingys think everyone can get along, and thingys just want to f**k all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your not a very nice persons, Chuck. And all the not a very nice persons want us to nuts all over everything! So, girl thingys may get mad at thingys once in a while, because girl thingys get f**ked by thingys. But thingys also f**k not a very nice persons, Chuck. And if they didn't f**k the not a very nice persons, you know what you'd get? You'd get your thingy and your girl thingy all covered in nuts!
EDIT: This was orignally supposed to be more random nonsense, quoted from team america, but the nazi filters on this site may have actually improved it.
