A real man, strong enough & smart enough would have designed it out of light weight aluminum, making it partially functional. Now that would have been worth posting. This is not much better than putting a bag over your head an going to a Halloween party as a condom. ;D ;D ;D CIAO!

Uhh... "lightweight" aluminum in those quantities wouldn't be so light...

Nice response, I'm figuring 65 lbs Aluminum & 45 lbs plastic resin. Remember, only functional parts are Aluminum or Aluminum re-enforced. I'm thinking spring assisted legs and neck for the helmet. Dampers on the arms, hips & waste and a football helmet with a spacemarine resin molded shape over it. I'm looking at my son's Kevlar vest for ideas. I've seen these movies on You Tube before. I think "DaBoyz" should make there own movie, we already have a bunch of characters. Just gotta dress them up! Wolf lord, 300 lbs. might be a good guess @ 1mm thk/ 0.040"! HAY, WE COULD BUILD IT OUT OF: UN-OBTAINIUM! ;D ;D ;D I have plenty of time now, just no money! CIAO!

Soo... now you're talking about a space marine costume instead of a lightweight-partially functional power loader suit from aliens?
I declare victory.

YOUR CONFUSING COSMETIC APPEARANCE WITH FUNCTIONALITY, I HAVE A VAST VERITY OF MANUFACTURING PROCESS SKILLS. YOU'RE JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS WITH NO CONCEPTION OF THE PROJECT.
NO POINT HAS BEEN MADE HERE, THE COSTUME CAN BE ANYTHING!
YOU COULD EVEN MAKE IT OUT OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS OVER A CARD BOARD FRAME, INCREDIBLE STRENGTH & LIGHT WEIGHT, ALA STEALTH CONSTRUCTION, BUT EXPENSIVE.
IF NOTHING IS PRODUCED, WHAT WOULD THE VICTORY BE?
I ACTUALLY WAS THINKING OF BUILDING A REAL BATTLE MECH. UNFORTUNATELY MOST PARTS WOULD NEED TO PURCHASED FROM JOHN DEER OR CATERPILLAR CORPORATION, GUNS WOULD BE A PROBLEM IN NEW YORK STATE. 2 TONS OF FUN! ;D ;D ;D

Thats why I would design it on my CAD system in solids, get the volume and plug in the density low grade aluminum. Knowing the weight of each part & the over all weight, I can now modify the design as required. Balancing the weight on a human body model (of my self) for comfort & mechanical advantage. "Don't make me build this!" CIAO! ;D ;D ;D Build away dragon... I would enjoy watching you try to walk around in this 300 lb behemoth. you're not building it... therefore I win!
