* See the combat maneuvers link in my signature to declare which action you are taking *
* AoM - I think you need to specify which of your multi power attacks you are using *
* AoP - You need to declare which type of attack you are making (normal strike, move by, move through..etc). Since you are charging it could be implied that you are making a move through. *

Segment 2 Continued…
SLINGER ducks to the side and extends both his arms shooting out a net of sticky goop. He then curses as Centipede ducks with inhuman reaction time. Centipede flashes the spidery hero a wicked glance.
“So you wanna die first!,” Centipede growls.
(Slinger still has a ½ phase action held till the top of segment 4)
Segment 3
BLAZER peers over at the Angel of pain who is flying directly for his team mate. He studies the angelic warrior for a moment and sneers as if annoyed. A bright beam of force shoots out past the angel missing the target and blasting a hole in the side of the stadium.
BLACKOUT looks to the mystic hero Dr. Solstice through the black fog. “You should be more afraid of the dark,” he says as he unleashes a beam of pure dark force. The beams hit Dr. Solstice who falls to the ground with a thud. His mystic shield and stone form spells both fail and sputter out.
ANGEL OF PAIN Bellows a Heavenly war cru and flies down to just south of Centipede. He swings Eternity’s Kiss at the speedster. He connects with skill slashing the white hooded villain. (36Stun 9Body – Defenses) The villains arm is slashed barely wounding him. The blow does not knock the villain back at all but does make him mad. Centipede looks to the angel and says “OK Now you gotta Die!”
ANGEL OF MERCY calls out like a southern preacher to a lost soul. "Your guilt shall be made clear villain! Feel your victims pain!" He instantly turns back into solid form to use his “Blade of the Crusader” A long sword of pure guilt and remorse. The villain however is sick and disdainful of his crimes and the Angel of Mercy’s attack misses its mark. Pointing to the Strong man power house he calls for his distant cherubs.
POWER HOUSE looks to Slinger again and claims that he will crush him like the bug he dresses up as. Slinger Dodges the blow using all his mutant speed. The super strong villain barely misses taking the hero’s head off. Slinger chuckles as he say “To slow gotta do better.”
DR SOLSTICE takes a recovery and regains consciousness. However he is still prone and defenceless in the dark cloud.
Segment 4
CENTIPEDE is angered at the small bleeding cut to his arm. He jabs at the Angel of pain a speedy barrage of blows with his battle blades. The villain hits but does no damage through the angel’s defenses. However the Angel of Pain is knocked back 4 meters south into the stadium seats and falls prone.
Slinger its your action on Segment 4
The Cherub Enforcers will be doing a Full Move to engage Power House
The rest of you get ready for Segment 5

On segment 5
"Fool! You delay the inevitable. All shall eventually come to judgment!", The "Angel of Mercy" cries focusing his Blade of the Crusader upon Centipede once again. **Ego attack**

Slinger finally remembers how fast Centipede really is and how hard he is to hit...not many options right now...
Segment 4: I attempt to strike Centipede with his clawed fist. I will hold my other 1/2 action (possibly for a dodge).

Rules comment: some of you have combat skill levels that can be used in both OCV and DCV
unless a change is stated, i will keep the last setting announced and i am currently using...
Slinger : 3 combat skill levels in HTH, +1OCV +2DCV
Angel of Pain : 3 combat skill levels in HTH, +2OCV +1DCV

Angel of Pain will get up and take to the air preparing for his next attack, sword in hand, against Centipede, "you'll have to do better than that to keep me down"

Segment 4 Continued…
SLINGER spins quickly in place and then and then rakes Centipede across the wounded arm with his claws. (37stun 11 Body – Defenses) The power of the blow flings the villain ten meters back to the north west onto the football field. The villain rolls to his feet however. The Villain’s eyes seem to go red as he lets out a string of curses. Centipede is enraged. “Nobody touch the Spider! He’s mine!” he screams. (Slinger retains a ½ phase action)
THE CHERUB ENFORCERS all do a full flight move and take positions on the sides of Power House or near him.
Segment 5
BLAZER leaves his hostages behind walking 6 meters to the north east. Seeing his team mate surrounded he shoots at the closest cherub enforcer. Blazer misses his shot blowing an empty stadium seat to bits.
BLACKOUT and the cloud of darkness surrounding him fly 24 meters north east and then a black bolt of energy shoots out from the cloud of darkness missing one of the Cherub Enforcers.
ANGEL OF PAIN stands and then launches himself 10 meters into the air. "You will have to do better than that to keep me down," he boasts.
ANGEL OF MERCY leaps into the air quickly flying to once again face Centipede. "Fool! You delay the inevitable. All shall eventually come to judgment!", The "Angel of Mercy" cries. He raises his psychic blade of the crusader into the air and plunges it into the shoulder of Centipede. The pain of his wrong doings floods his mind. (15 stun – Defenses) Centipede cries in pain but his focus of his gaze never leaves Slinger.
Segment 6
CENTIPEDE races again to just north west of Slinger. In a blur of movement he swipes at the hero with his deadly blades. Slinger attempts to dodge but with the worst of luck only throws himself onto the villain’s weapon. Centipede plunges his combat blades deep into Slinger’s thigh. Slinger Screams in pain. (27 Stun & 10 body Penetrate Slinger’s defenses) The hero is unmoved by the force of the attack but stands Stunned by the pain. (Losing phase 6) Slingers leg is quickly stained red by the blood. “I will kill you!” Centipede screams at the young hero.
SLINGER Recovers from being Stunned. Catching his breath from the massive damage.
POWER HOUSE sees that slinger is about to be finished off by centipede and chooses to instead take down one of the pesky cherubs surrounding him. He misses one of the small flying targets however and curses.
DR SOLSTICE hears Slinger’s cry of pain and although battered himself stands to try to assist the hero. He again summons his “Shield of the White Arcane”. But also summons an additional layer of protection invoking “Von Helsing’s Shield” as well. Finally he chooses to unleash the “Guided Darts of Force” against the distant Centipede. Sadly the Darts miss their target. Dr Solstice says a prayer for the wounded hero.
Segment 7
CENTIPEDE again swings his blades at Slinger. In a blur of motion he brings his blades he swings his blades for slingers throat.
Would Slinger like to abort Phase 8 and do a defensive action?
All heroes & Cherubs have Phase 8 actions except Dr Solstice who will have to wait till Phase 9.

** um, let's see...would I like to Dodge? YES YES YES YES! Put all my hth skills into DCV as well!!! **
Slinger grimaces and continues to taunt Centipede through clenched teeth - "Is that all you got?". He thinks to himself, "F&Ck! Did those knives get sharper?? Well, I got his undivided attention - at least he's only a threat to me at the moment. Time for some evasive maneuvers.."

Segment 9
The "Angel of Mercy" scowls, concerned with Slinger predicament, but knows that now is his chance with Centipede's back to him. Maximizing his offense, AoM back-stabs Centipede with the Blade of the Crusader. *** Full ego attack ***
*** Cherub Enforcers should be using their teamwork to dodge and make minor strikes against Power House, really just keeping him off balance and distracted. ***

Segment 7
CENTIPEDE again swings his blades at Slinger. In a blur of motion he brings his blades he swings his blades for slingers throat.
SLINGER dodges at the last possible second. (Aborting his phase 8 action and losing his chance to Switch his skill levels till phase 10)
CENTIPEDE’s blade narrowly misses slingers throat in a shot sure to have caused massive damage. Slinger taunts the villain "Is that all you got?". To which Centipede growls back “Only one of us bleeding Punk!”
Segment 8
BLAZER advances 6 meters to the south west and then fires a beam of energy from his eyes hitting Angel of Pain square in the chest with a bolt of force. (11 Stun and 0Body penetrate his defenses.) The Angel of Pain is blown back 4 meters into a wall then crashes into the seats below. (He takes no extra damage from the knock back or the fall.)
BLACKOUT appears on the battlefield as the smokey cloud around him fades away. Simultaneously the light of day shines down into the stadium as the black dome fades away. Black out stands there on the field apparently just looking around at his surroundings.
ANGEL OF PAIN curses as he stands again and leaps into the air returning to his former position in the air.
ANGEL OF MERCY looks to the wounded Slinger and sees how badly hurt that the hero is. He begins to understand Slinger’s warnings about the villain. The Angel of Mercy flies back to beside Centipede. His deep sense of honor would not allow him to attack any foe from behind. Attacking like a sinner from behind is not the lord’s way. Again drives the “Blade of the Crusader” into the villain. Centipede screams as he is forced to feel the pain he has brought to others. (28 Stun – Defenses) Centipede falls to the ground fainting from the pain.
The CHERUB ENFORCERS continue to surround Power House. They try to kick at power house but all are ineffective at even bringing a serious blow to land.
Segment 9
CENTIPEDE begins to stir
POWER HOUSE Swats one of the Cherub Enforcers. All around can hear the sounds of bones breaking. The Cherub is flung at high speed impacting a wall and stains the wall with a splatter of blood. The Cherub falls still and bleeding against the wall. There is a cry of sorrow from the crowd who all get to see this on the big TV screen.
DR SOLSTICE takes this time to recover some more from his initial beating.
Segment 10 all heroes except Dr Solstice and the Cherub Enforcers get actions

Slinger checks his wounds and starts to seriously think about neck armor...
Segment 10: All HTH combat skills into DCV. While centipede is down I will try to entangle him again.

The "Angel of Mercy's" face goes both grim and sorrowful at the fate of one of his enforcers. To the side, he asks to Slinger, "Will your webs hold this one? We can ignore the other villains no longer!"
In a loud voice, for all to hear, "Make swift to the side of our Lord once again. We shall carry on the fight in His name!"
*** AoM dismisses the Body of the fallen Cherub Enforcer. I'm not sure if this can be done as a free action or if it takes up all of my segment 10 ***
