Is there any reason why we are holding the next league games a week earlier than scheduled? This may conflict with some people's schedules who may have planned things around the league knowing which days they were going to be held originally. For example I scheduled a family party on the 8th, a month ago, and now I'm conflicted on whether to cancel the family christmas party or to not so up for the league.
The whole entire schedule is thrown off because of this. I say we should hold the next meeting as scheduled. On January 15th instead of the 8th. Just my two cents.

I'm fine either way. I wouldn't mind the little extra time having it on the 15'th would allow, but I can pick up the pace if need be.

I agree, the 15th would be better, a little break from the rushed painting would be nice. Especially through the holiday time. Also might be a good time for people to go back and detail some of the things that they didn't have time to do before. Or for people to catch that were behind.

I think you need to check your calendars. December 11th was the last session. The next session would be December 25th and the session after that would be January 8th. For obvious reasons December 25th is being skipped. If you move the schedule off the 8th I wont be able to make anymore games becuase they will fall on weekends that I have other plans that work around the current schedule.
C4, if you miss a session it isn't going to hurt becuase you get one 'buy' week.
I think 4 weeks (Dec 11 to Jan 8) is plenty of time for people to catch up. It's still 2 1/2 weeks until January 8th.
I vote for keeping it on the 8th.

C4, Fouchey is right. I worked out me scheduled visits with my son so that I could have him the night before the escalation league in hopes of helping him assemble his army. The weekend of the 8th coincides with my son being overnight. I would prefer the 8th to stay on schedule. If you knew my ex you would appreciate what a female dog it would be to change weekends. My two cents...

The Original Scedule was burned the day we lost our old board. That was a Tentative schedule anyways. As I said before and posted MANY times we may have to hold it on the 8th. 2 reasons now. One Shuan backed up his 1st of the month tournament so we could hold it on the 8th, and second the needs of many out wiegh the needs of one.
If you will not be able to make it you do have a free day left C4. As for painting....there are no excuses for that. I gave plenty of time in the begining and you have 3 weeks to paint 200 points. I as an Ork player should be the one complining but im keeping up with it. I spend a little over 2 hours a night on painting and thats enough to keep up for me. Now would be the week to get that large number of models in or large vehicle.
The 8th will stand as the date that the next escalation will be held. Thanks for your concerns. Ron

Right Doug and Dave, but Ron had originally had the next step on the 15th because of the first of the month tournament being held on the 8th instead, but since it seems that is canceled he bumped up the escalation league instead. Just wanted to note that I was right
