On a more final note.
Ron won overall, Evil Eric placed second
I won for best painted with That James Guy coming in a close second.
I for one, would like to thank everyone that participated and Ron for running this grand event. Now After a brief break I hope everyone can put this much effort into terrain and organization for the daboyz gt.

Ron - Thanks for running this. You did a great job and I thought it went very smoothly.
Grats to everyone that won. That was some very close competition in the painting category. If Orville can post some of the pics of the 2 armies that would be great so people can see them.

As Norton stated the winners, I would like to thank everyone that participated in this League, I had a good time running it and it gave you opportunities to play at point levels you would not normally play at. Hopefully some people got fully painted armies out of this, I know I did. This is my 2nd "fully" painted army for 40k and Im glad its over with! (hehe)
Thanks Shaun for letting us run it at Boldos and holding onto the prize money.
Maybe the next one for the 2006-2007 one will be for Fantasy? (Dont know if I will run this or not. Maybe Norton can?)(I would encourage some of you 40k players to play the game a few times, it is rather intersting and can be quite fun)
Thanks again. and Congrats to Erik (2nd over all) Norton (1st Painting) and James (2nd Painting) and some jerk got 1st Over all (me) with my "Not playable Orks" ;D

Thank you to Ron for running the league and encouraging us to play and paint. It was fun and both Brian and I are glad we participated. Fantasy sounds like a nice change next time, but for now I think a brief break would be nice then I would like to start working on some terrain for the upcoming tourney as Norton suggested.

I hate you James. You paint the way I do in my mind, the problem is that when I pick up a brush things goes seriously wrong from there. Seriously though, that is some outstanding work you have done and you pictures look great!

didn't think to take a zoomed out picture of the battle.
I've got higher resolution copies of the pictures if anyone wants them.
