I like my Cold One riders, but mine are cold-blooded (Lizardmen) so are less likely to be stupid.
The Dark Elf way of mitigating the stupidity is through redundancy...Two small units of Cold One Knights.
Boldo likes big units of Empire Cav...Which is pretty much the cheapest Heavy Cav around, so they can get away with it (I like my 10 man unit of Inner circle kanigits). Cold One Knights are more expensive than Empire Knights, and can break a unit by themselves from the front (With the banner of bonus combat res on the charge or a Cauldron around giving them +1 attack).

Depends on who you ask...
As soon as you pack the pendant/Hydra you have people that will complain.
The dreadlord could use a mount.
The bsb might work better on the hag with the cauldron
Also, (personal preference) your core blocks seem a bit small.
