They have a nice color combo. To make the armor stand out with more detail maybe try using the washes, like a Delvan Mud or the Sepia wash to cover them with. would allow the armor joints to stand out and break up the solid color on the armor.
What will you use for a base? Mud or maybe snow would look cool.

You're the third person to suggest the Delvan mud wash...Though I'm not sure exactly how to use it (Put it in the cracks?)
On the base, I'm thinking about either gravel or patches of snow (Boldo has snow in stock...No grey gravel)

Yeah, these could really use an ink wash to make them pop!
Washes are pretty simple to do - basically just brush it on. The trick is to mage sure the ink isnt too thick. The ink will collect into the crevasses and deeper parts as it dures.
After it dries, You will probably need to do a final highlight but these guys will look great!

Yup, like Johnboo said. Just brush the wash on the models and let it run into the cracks etc. you could even add a little water to the wash so it is not so dark. once its dry, you can add your highlights.

Those turned out nice. Are those the new plastic models?

Looks like you got high lighting down ok , now you just need to add some shading to the armor and weapons. Try a simple black line in between where the silver of the horns/weapons meets the bleach bone armor. Or if you want to go a more realistic route do a 72/25 of bleach bone and black (or a brown ink) and shade the recesses of the armor/or where the plates over lap, with that. The armor, weapons and sheilds need more depth to them.
Overall a good start.
