Cuz Doug needs to know....
1) What armies did you guys take and what types of armies did you see? I brought the high elves out of mothball...as you expect a rather weak list but well rounded - though a solid magic phase. I should know by now that magic lists always let me down....it wont happen again! ;D
I faced 2 lizardmen armies(Tie,Loss), 1 dwarf(tie), 1 wood elf(loss), and the before mentioned 1001 gnoblars(tie).
2) How did comp go, what was fair, what wasn't?
My comp was a 14, a point or 2 lower than I was expecting, but in the end everyones was a few lower than expected. I think the fact that the gnoblar armies were there skewed everone's points lower as they were the peceived kings of comp. Overall it worked, with a few exceptions & anomolies. (like Norton's)
3) Bad matchups? Hmmm is this even possible in such a fair and balanced game as Warhammer fantasy???
Now you know WHFB hasnt been balanced in over a year! Three dirty books in a row...
4) Boldo took 12th, who won, what were they playing?
Lizards - mostly point denial style.

Thank you John! ( Really i do care but dont say that too loud!) -Any thoughts on what could have been done better at Crossroad? -Is there a solution to get rid of the nastier armies and promote more middle of the road play? -I know that codex creep is alive and well in fantasy, and I fear that it is all too active in 40K as well. Maybe Skaven will be different...
