Captain Foser orders into the com lines, “I think we should start to moving the villagers back into the mines for their protection in case this gets ugly if we are sure the explosives are disarmed. Lets get them ready now. We'll move them once our air support arrives."
Private Tien Xhou Wong reports back “The crowd has dispersed it will take some time to put them into order again. Give me thirty minutes minimum and I will see what I can do.” That said he races out from cover and heads toward the villages homes hoping to get the villagers organized again.
Private Kantor takes cover behind the temple steps. “Do we open fire sir? Awaiting your order.” He takes aim with his rifle but holds his finger off the trigger.
Private Hagbard hides in cover beside Private Kantor. “Where are the ewoks when we need them?”
“I would prefer a light antitank weapon instead,” replies Private Kantor “Anybody got one?”
Sergeant Drake reports back, “We used ours on the fire breathing Dragon, so unless you brought one we are fresh out.”
Lieutenant Stukof climbs back to the top of the temple tower. “They got two more of those walking things behind their ship. Those ones have big claws and are moving barrels out of the warehouses back there and into the drop ship.”

I start to rally the folks of the town, but keep them low key so as to not get them slaughtered by blind charges. if I'm unable to to that, I relay that to the others. If I can, I'll assist drake in setting up those charges.

It takes a few minutes but soon two fighters from the USS Drake fly over the horizon like a pair of great American heroes. They fly overhead and one lets a chemical high explosive missile fly at the drop ship in front of you. The missile descends with an angry roar. The missile hits its target. Doing minimal damage to the drop ship’s outside surface. “Eagle 2 to ground team, Circling around for another pass.”
As soon as the missile hits home the two farthest drop ships both pick up off the ground and begin rocketing into space only the ship landed in the town center remains.
The two mechanical monsters waiting along side the ship begin to slowly back up. As the fighters from the USS Drake circle around again another chemical high explosive missile hits the drop ship this time doing some real damage. They begin to circle again as you can hear your mechanical opponents climb aboard and the center drop ship takes off. Climbing quickly into the sky.
“Eagle 2 to ground team, pursuing enemy ships”
Private Kantor moves out to take a look at the warehouses that were behind the drop ship. He radios the team, “Looks like they got a bunch of the stuff in here there is a lot missing but most of it is still here.”
Lieutenant Stukof replies, “We better take a barrel of that stuff up to the USS Drake, maybe with the labs there we can find out what was so important about this stuff. Private Tien Xhou Wong please report back with some of the locals in charge so we can make our request.”
It isn’t long before Private Tien Xhou Wong comes back with a group of the village’s peoples. He relays the lieutenant’s request to them and says that they agree you can take as much as you want. Private Tien Xhou Wong also has Privates McPimp and Hatfield with him. Who report for duty.
Private Tien Xhou Wong remembers the Fraal communications equipment that the team was promised for their assistance in driving off the imperials. The village elders know of the alien equipment and can provide a guide to take you to it. Private Tien Xhou Wong smiles admiring that the mission to this world is a complete success.
Private Hatfield interjects that the mission wasn’t completely a success. The imperials may have let him and Private McPimp go, but they kept Russian Sergeant Ivanovitch. They kept saying there was something special about him. Sergeant Ivanovitch was taken to the Imperial Cruiser directly from the village keep.
