For those of you who qualified for our invitational for 40k or Fantasy here are the dates for each event. I will follow this post up with a list of qualified attendees.
Each tournament will be free to play in for those qualified. I will provide food and $150 in GW product as prize support.
Fantasy is December 4th first round will start at 10:00am
40k is December 11th first round will start at 10 am.
We will be using the same system as we have in the past for tournaments. Only qualified player's can play in this event. I will be posting next years tournament schedule today. If you have any questions you can always send me a PM.
I hope to see you all at Da Boyz GT this weekend. For those playing, good luck.

Ditto on scoring matrix and missions.
Also may want to verify attendance so we end up with an even number. Horst has been MIA so we may be odd.

I for one suggest we use the missions out of the 40K rule book ( I am tired of playing "special" missions!) and have the players score each other if you have any desire to use soft scoring.

i dont think this is really the best place for it and it would better be discussed by who ever is running it, but i second rulebook missions. however, i think soft scores should go by the gw checklist that has been used in the past for painting, and a simple 'cheesy, middle, soft' scoring for comp.
p.s. i am not asking for anyones opinion on comp here, simply stating how i think it would be best for this given tournament. theres better places to be discussing how you feel on comp (because apparently some of you still find the need to whine and preach about it) so please save it for another thread.

+1 on book missions (and deployment). I for one actually enjoy capture and control, DoW deployment, and night fight.
Still waiting on names too. I was told I qualified in May but I need to verify soon so I can get that Saturday off work.

Missions - We are using book missions exclusively. Outside of the GT primer that's what we have done for every event.
Painting- We are using the checklist
Comp - Good game / bad game for comp
This is a free event. It's a thanks for playing, let's have fun and here is some prizes type event.
If you show up with a sick list in an effort to win, your missing the point. I am pretty sure people know where I fall when it comes to comp vs. no comp tourneys.
Prizes will be paid deep for the event as well. First prize will not be that much better then second, third, forth. I am still giving out $150.00 in prize support though.
You will be fed too. Lee should be getting me the final list soon.
Thus far for qualified I have Zach and Paul from the Primer. More to come soon.
