Not sure if I got the order right between first and second but...
1st - Zack with Guard 2nd - Norton Dark Eldar 3rd - Rob with Dark Eldar
Overall another fun event. Overall I came in 1-2 with the second game hanging by a hair at the end against Konrad's guard.
I don't have exact army breakdowns but here is what I recall...
Blood Angels (1-2) Space Wolves(3-4) Guard (3-4) Chaos Marines (2) Dark Eldar (2) Tau (1)
I don't recall any nids, orks, necrons, daemons, or sisters.

I will correct some of what Kevin wrote for clarification. The event was three rounds. We had 18 player's total. At the end of three rounds of play there were 2 undefeated teams. Given the small number of round and the lack of painting/sportsmanship, wins were the only thing taken into consideration.
So 1st/2nd were Zach (IG) and Rob M. (Dark Eldar)
3rd/4th/5th with there only losses being to Zach or Rob were Norton (Dark Eldar), Mark Orosz (Tau) and Kevin from Buffalo (Space Wolves)
Since Zach had already qualified for the invitational during the teams tournament the invite got pushed down. The second invite came down to a roll off between Norton, Mark and Kevin. Norton won the roll.
Kevin's break down of armies was spot on.
Player's qualified for the invitational are as follows
Jay,Shaun, Joe, Zach, Rob M. & Norton.
April's event is gonna be a bit different. We are gonna run 1850 with no special characters and everything in your codex being 0-1, except troops. You can only take multiples of units that are listed under your troops section of your codex. That means no Ork Biker & Tervigon troops. You have to have one choice from each unit category. We will do our best to have solid tables to make fast attack/ jump infantry useful. Hope to see you all there.

Sounds good travis. Does that means rhinos and other dediated transports are 0-1 also?
What about land raider and russ variants? I know this was the goal for the last lock-in but some people ended up with multiple rhinos and russ variants because they weren't clear.

Dedicated transports are fine. Anything that is listed as a troop choice is not an issue. You can multiples of the same vehicles. They don't have to be different.

Ah so blood angels can bring 5 land raiders in 1850 but I can only bring 1 trygon is what you're saying?

That is going to be very interesting Travis and my mind is already trying to work out a list hehe.
How are we going to handle "unique" choices. Treat them as special charactors? How will the Avatar be handled since it is an HQ but not a special. All the charactor upgrades in codex's like the guard codex are considered special correct?
Hive I think if it is a dedicated transport then duplicates are okay but you can not take more than one if it comes out of another unit selection (right?). That possibly does mean you will see someone with the 4 landraider army (BA and BT come to mind).

J/K looking forward to it and I'll bring my 2 tables.
