Boston Brawl

Here is the info on the Boston Brawl this year, I think I'm going to try and make this one. June 17-19

That's right people this year we have gone to a con instead of just a indy GT. This year it will be in June and will be three days instead of two. Event's will include:

"I HAVE DECIDED DUE TO COMPLAINTS FROM LAST YEAR FROM HERE ON WE WILL BE DISSOLVING THE COMP COUNCIL!!!"

Friday:
-40k combat patrol Tourney
-Fantasy Warbands Tourney
- 500pts Mid War FOW tourney
-Open Gaming and several small seminars (we will announce the speakers soon)
-awards for all events this day

Saturday
-40k Main Tourney 3 games on this day
-Fantasy Main Tourney 3 games this day
-WarMachine tourney most likely 25pts
-Late War Tourney 2000pts.
-Painting Comp (this year we will be doing 7 Categories instead of the two from last year)
-A few more seminars
-awards for warmachine, and FOW, as well as the painting comp

Sunday
-40k last two rounds
- fantasy last two rounds
-Open Gaming
-Awards for 40k and fantasy

Most likely this year will actually be at a bigger venue hall that will be located in Hudson, Ma instead of Cambridge, Ma.

-We will be looking for a limited number of volunteers this year, so if you are interested please PM me.

Of not, make sure you have a car if you're going to this event as it surely isn't in what most people consider "Boston" this year.

Hudson is a good hour or more drive depending on traffic from most areas closer to Boston.

As u all know, I went last year had a good time and took best general.

I would like to see a group of 4-5 peeps go down this year.

Its a shame the venue is going to move cause last year i stayed at the hotel 2 mins. from the armory and downtown was only a 15 min. subway ride.

I was surprised that they moved the venue as well and more surprised at how far from the good parts of the Boston Metro area.

I might end up going as it would be a good excuse to get home. Have to check vacation time though as I think I already have a week off around that time frame.

Yeah, I'll spare you guys the 7.5 hour trip with an infant this time around

Used to make the trip back home in 6 to 6.5 depending on how dense the state troopers are patrolling. Now we add at least an extra hour in for stopping to nurse and change diapers.

Yeah, if I wanted to go I could no issues with the wife but then I'd be a communist cause I wouldn't be enjoying beer, ocean and bbq with friends and family
