In 40k if something is off, it can easily be explained in-universe as being because the Warp did it.

Yeah, saw that as well. Looks good but I have some serious reservations about this new codex, mainly that this will be the most tooled out, broken army yet. Nothing like encouraging power gaming from a corporate level, oops, that's another topic right?

I haven't actually had trouble with Tau yet. Now, if what I am hearin about the new book is true, then I think there will be problems.
My bigger complaint about this is that the Tau are a recent army. Why aren't they supporting an army that hasn't had a release in a while. Dark Eldar players are screaming for a new codex.

Dark Eldar players will continue to scream. They've gone the way of the squats, and the chaos dwarves.
Having played tau, and having read up on almost all of the rumors about the new codex the core of how the army works is going to be the same. Truth be told I really don't see my army changing much with the release of the new book.
Tau is an easy release. There is not much that needs to be "fixed" with the tau. Which means if I guess right that there is not much in the way of a development/playtest cycle that needs to be done, so that more resources can be dedicated to fixing the codices that are really in need of help.
Yeah. It'll prolly only take about as long to put out a new eldar codex as it did to put out a plastic wave serpent kit. I'll believe it when I see it.

Eldar is scheduled for late summer/early fall. At least that's the rumor. I'm looking forward to it personally. Hoping they do something like the doctrines system.

Dark Eldar, Eldar, and Orks all need to be redone. As much as I like the Dark Eldar stuff, I think they should have more variety and new models. Eldar has way to much cheesy stuff. The targeting matrix, unless you are Ben, the magic rolls, the 2d6 take the lowest stuff, its all cheese. Orks are cool, but new models and new klans would be cool. Maybe even a make your own klan like the make your own chapter in the Space Marines book!

again, Brian..SHUT UP!
First off, get your cheese right - targeting matrix, psychic powers (which is what I assume you are referring to as magic rolls), and roll 2d6 and take the lowest are not cheese. Those are expensive bits of wargear, upgrades, and powers. Eldar cheese consists of star cannons and tooled up seer councils...
Second, Orks have clans that are failry distinct for a reason. They dont need a bunch of idiots out their creating kustom ones..that would just be silly...
