The entire army is looking pretty good except for the grotesque. I cant wait till I get these Death Company done for Hero's of Armageddon and can move back to my own stuff heheh.

Does anyone coming to this event have an extra flamer template? Someone nabbed mine in Tennessee and I will need a replacement. LMK what you'd like: bitz, $, chocolate...

So player A is playing imperial guard and wins 4 games for 12pts.
Player B is playing imperial guard and loses 4 times for 0pts, but receives 13 votes for best painted.
Player B wins as top Imperial player despite 4 losses?

sorry guys I could not make this one. I really wanted to come but I am obligated to getting this army done for HOA and work has not allowed me much paint time.
By the way, Jay and Shaun I still have your displays. We need to meet up for beers so I can deliver them ;D

Aaron,
I am not sure understand your post. The original scoring that I had set up for this was changed due to the battle points break down being more in depth so I adjusted all scoring across the board.
Scoring went as follows-
17 maximum points for each mission x 4 Missions = 68 points
10 maximum points for painting. Each vote you got for best painted from your opponents (Each person played 4 total opponents) was worth 2.5 points. Those people that got buys instead got 3.33 points per vote.
10 points maximum for favorite opponent. Points for this broke down the same.
10 points maximum for Pub Quiz. 25 questions .4 points per correct answer.
2 points if your were the only person playing your army.
That totals 100. You couldn't have more votes then 4 for both painting and best opponent. So no your math didn't and couldn't happen based on our scoring system. I just noticed you posted this at 7:08am not pm. Well that's how our scoring went for those that were wondering anyways. lol
Congrats to our winners Aaron (Grey Knights)Top Imperium, Jay (Tyrnaids) Top Xenos, Allen P (Dark Eldar)for Skulltaker, Patrick for Favorite Opponent, Courtney for Best Painted and Mike Nogle for 40k geek.
Hope to see those of you that didn't show up to this event at the lock-in. You know who you are and your on notice now. So you better have a good showing.
July's Event is probably going to be Kill Teams instead of 'Ard Boyz. The official 'Ard Boyz event is in August so I don't wanna run that event two months in row. Details to follow as the date gets closer.

I wish I could have made it. Unfortunately, I work on saturdays during the summer. This in and of itself wouldn't normally stop me, but my job is training lifeguards, and is very physically demanding. I usually come home wiped, and crash by 8. I had everything ready to go just in case I felt up to it, but it wasn't to be. Hopefully next time, but realistically, I'm probably out until August at the soonest.

Sorry Travis, that post was before the event. Thanks for changing the scoring format though!
It was really Kevin's donated flamer template that I attribute my success to. That thing never missed!
Fun event though and well executed. The missions were a welcome change from standard book missions and the point level encouraged people to step outside their comfort zone.
I'll be at the lock-in and July event and look forward to both.
