I am planning on building some aegis defense lines for my eldar and chaos armies. The rulebook says that the line may include up to 4 long pieces and 4 short pieces. Since I plan to make mine out of foam to emulate wraitbone, I need to know roughly how many inches long the long and short pieces are.
Anyone kind enough to post sizes for me?

Long pieces are 5"
Short pieces are 2"
4 of each in the kit.

Skyshield platform is 3.5" high, 12"x12" at the widest points.
Its a pretty big platform.

I was looking at some of the graphics and it is bigger than I thought it was at first. It seems like the Aegis line is almost an auto-include for most armies though.
I like the flavor for the Sky-Shield with Daemons appearing right on it though, maybe a 'major summoning circle' with some smaller ones set to the side..or better yet (since most my army is slaanesh) I will do a main stage with some smaller stages to the sides of it...
I assume I am going to have to elevate it a bit so you can see under it, otherwise it would really change the way the entire thing works...good thing I acquired about 300 Birch Bark drink stirrers from my last conference...
