As for the win, its all about the armies and the matchups. The only credit I can take for the win was using Black Legion since the army played itself (just like most Chaos armies do!)

I took 1000 Black Legion
Ron took 1000 Iron Warriors
Both Undivided Chaos Armies
Mission was modified reserves with escalation where reselves come in early (plus one to the dice roll), you mark units to kill for double victory points, then it was basically table quaters and victory points. We went first did some shooting, nothing spectacular on turn one. Second turn all my reserves and deamons hit the board, steeds made it to assault but the deamonettes and horrors got caught in the open. They got their army in piecemeal and where outshot. All their vehicles went down as well as many units broken or destroyed. Terrain was not in their favor and we got luck with the vehicle damage rolls.

Next tourney is Simcon, 1850 points, U of R, April 1st.

Superior Shooting won the day. Granted they didnt have but 2 pieces of terrain to Completely hide thier vehicles and units behind and do the sp00ny jump thing the eldar and tau like to do. But thats the was the cookie crumbles some times. You dont always get whats advantagious to you.

We won dice roll to go first thanks to Adepticon rules.Both sides first turn of shooting was horrendis..Nothing killed pretty much.
Thier army came in piece mail ours came in all at once. We were able to pick them off slowly while advanceing down the middle and coving angle which they were trying to hide units in.

Granted we did get lucky with taking down the skimmers, but they were in the open to multiple las cannon shots and plasma guns. The DP charged, yeah he got 4 out of 5 hits on 6's but one was bound to get through. That was luck.

Everything else in the eldar army really didnt threaten us except one squad and they got into combat way to late to make a diffrence. Few mistakes were made on the eldar team which im sure they learned and wont repeat.

Bonus was, SoB got to see a real Chaos Player and Iron Warrior. he even got some lessons in Crowd control and Target Priority (my terms). Im sure he will take it to his lessons in stride and it will make him a better player for it.

I can see the resentment in your posts. Im sorry if you envy me so. I know its hard to live up to one such as me. You can stop trying because that path will just lead you to great dissapointment.
