I'm having a hard time get the rules together for Armour Company. Things I have: 1) First Chapter Approved Book: Imperial Guard Armoured Company (page 27) 2) latest Imperial Guard Armoury from Games Works. 3) latest Imperial Guard Armoured Vehicle Inventory from Games Works. 4) Chapter Approved Codex: Imperial Guard V4.0.1 5) Regimental Organization Practices-Armoured Company from Games Workshop. It appears I need the latest White Dwarf: Imperial Guard Armoured Company writeup. I can't figure out if I use the original rules for LUCKY SHOT, 50% loss, keeping 12" away from enemy in cover ect... And I HAVE KNOW I IDEA HOW MY HQ's WORK? COMMANDER 100pts. +TANK (WHAT I'M I GETTING FOR THE COMMANDER? HOW DO I USE COMMISSARS AND AT WHAT COST? 65 POINTS FOR AN ACE GETS ME WHAT? THIS TYPE OF STUFF I NEED TO FORM A 1500,1850 & 2000 POINT ARMY LISTS. HELP!

Let me give you some friendly advice on the armored company. Ive played with it.
Its a sink hole of an army money wise. Its an army no one likes to play against. Its an Army not approved at many tournaments.

All it was, was some friendly advice. Good luck finding the rules. The most recent are in the white dwarf (which unfortunalty I do not have)

Hey Ron: I agree with you, no problem. Over time this will become a true Imperial Guard Army. I just want to play tanks. With my TYRANIDS & non--Monolith NECRONS (by design), I need a brake. It was this or Speed Freaks, but my son has ORKS and some day if there is a god, hill get them done.

IF SOMEONE HAS WHITE DWARF #253, I'M LOOKING FOR THE UP-DATED CODEX ARTICLE FROM ANDY CHAMBERS (NOT MARYLIN CHAMBERS), ON IMPERIAL GUARD ARMOUR COMPANY. IF POSSIBLE, COULD SOMEONE SCAN IT IN, OR OTHER METHOD OFF COMMUNIQUE.
THERE FIRST OUTING WILL BE JANUARY 8th 2006 @ THE COYOTES DEN. IF THERE ARE ANY COYOTE DEN PLAYS OUT THERE IDENTIFY YOUR SELVES.

I have a lot Imperial Guard Questions, and thanks to those who have responded. P.S. Thanks, Sanguinary I have that website already, still looking for White Dwarf 253. Going through all the Games Workshop information: it appears that Armored Company now plays like any other army without the special rules. Luck shot, staying 12” away from enemy troops in cover and tank advancement is halted below 50% without a Commissar are gone. Now I take point organization penalties (1 HQ-100 point commander in a tank with 1 comm link, and if joined by other tanks, must take 40 point Commissars. Tank Aces are now 65 points and you need Commissars or Tank Aces to be able to take more than 1 tank in a troop choice. Theirs more, if I got it wrong, please respond, now my questions for you Imperial Guard experts. Sentinels are listed as Fast Attack Vehicles, but they are Walkers and walkers can only move 6” and assault 6”, TRUE or FALSE. Sentinels can be taken in Catachan patterns; I bought the box Squadron of 3, now my question. The Sentinel came with 2 weapons, one is a heavy flamer, I know the second is not an autocannon because theirs no gun canister, is the other weapon a LASCANNON or MULTI-LASER? Catachan Sentials have 1 extra assault and +1WS, it also has a CHAINSAW, what type of weapon is it and what are stats? Armies of the Imperium Codex has 2 different spec’s for HELLHOUNDS (same model) CATACHAN HELLHOUND 70 points with amour values of FA 12 SA 10 RA 10 & IMPERIAL GUARD HELLHOUND 110 points amour value of FA 13 SA 12 RA 10, can anyone tell me why? I’m confused on IMPROVED COMMS, can someone explain, and give examples of how this works for ORDNANCE WEAPONS, REGULAR SHOOTING and weather its used once or more per turn, (I know how reserves work).
