Just looking for some input. This List is DA fluffy, as it includes evey facet od DA special options. The ravenwing and deathwing are represented, and the DA are the only marines who can put a Plasma cannon on a dread anymore, while it's not the logical choice considering the power of the ass. cannon these days, I love my Plasma dread. So what do you think guys?

Looks fair and balanced to me. The only problem I see is that your lack mobility, maybe try to add a rhino or a drop pod to get your librarian where he is needed. I am no where's near an expert on DA so maybe someone else can chime in as well.

I like the list . If I were to make any suggestions they would be as follows; -Try and find the points for a teleport homer for your scouts. So the Termies have something to come in on. -Give heavy weapons to your 2 10 man squads. You never know when they come in handy. Even if you are using the squad to move forward. -Try to fit at least one Rhino in. For a mobile counter assault unit. -I would lose the plasma pistol on the vet. He blows up you lose stubborn.

I've seen scouts split into two 5 man units and still do a lot of damage. Just something to consider...

2 FIVE MAN SCOUT UNITS GIVES YOU ALLOT OF LATITUDE DURING A GAME. I USE 4 SNIPER RIFLES & A SERGEANT WITH PISTOL & CCW, (COST IS 85 POINTS), OR 5 SCOUTS WITH SNIPER RIFLES FOR 90 POINTS, (YOU CAN NOW DO THIS) OR 5 SCOUTS WITH 3 SNIPER RIFLES+ 1 MISSILE LAUNCHER AND A SERGEANT WITH PISTOL & CCW FOR 90 POINTS. "SERGEANT CAN BE ANYTHING, THESE ARE THE MODELS I HAVE!"

I HAVE PLAYED MY MARINES AS DARK ANGELS (MY COLORS ARE ALL WRONG), BUT I HAVEN'T SINCE THE NEW SPACEMARINE CODEX, THIS IS WHY:
1) ON THE CODEX CD, THE INTERROGATOR CHAPLIN HAS 3 WOUNDS, 5 ATTACKS WITH TERMINATOR ARMOUR AND A STORM BOLTER AS BUILT BY ME. THE COST OF THIS CHARACTER IS 115 points, IS THIS CORRECT?
2) WHAT IS THE COST OF A TORNADO WITH AN WITHOUT JINX?
3) SINGLE ATTACK BIKES AS UNIT WAS ONE OF THE BEST OPTIONS ALL THE MARINES HAD. ATTACK BIKES FOR DARK ANGELS IS THE ONLY PLACE LEFT WHERE THEY HAVE ANY VALUE, BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE TWO OF THEM. FOR 80 or 85 points A 4 ATTACK RENDING ASSAULT CANNON/ 3 HEAVY BOLTER SHOTS TORNADO MAKES ATTACK BIKE OBSOLETE.

The faq says use chaplain from the space marine book so thats 100 pts plus terminator armor (25pts) plus storm bolter (5 pts) = 130 so no it would be wrong. Terminator armor used to have a lower cost but dark angel characters used to have terminator honors built in. For those who argue that the changed cost still applies by the letter of the law... than its Chaplain 100pts plus manditory purchas of terminator honors (15pts) plus Storm Bolter (5pts) plus terminator Armor (10pts) =130 (With free redundant terminator honors which have no effect unless there is some war gear nullifier)

on the point of attack bikes sucking?
Possibly the heavy bolter ones, but then again raven wing bikes are a 1W 2+ save plus jinx still (great with multimeltas)

COLONEL CATACHAN: WOULD YOU NOT TAKE, 3 TORNADO'S AS 3 FAST ATTACK UNITS (240 pts. or 255 pts. jinx) OVER 1 SQUAD OF ATTACK BIKES WITH 3 MULTI-MELTAS (195 pts.).
I'M BIG ON ATTACK BIKES, BUT ONLY IF THEY'RE UNDER THE DARK ANGELS BANNER.
THE ONLY WAY I WOULD TAKE ATTACK BIKES NOW IS 1 SQUAD OF 3, (STILL LIKE TORNADO'S BETTER) OR 3 SQUADS OF 3, ALL WITH HEAVY BOLTER'S, BUT THE ARMY SIZE WOULD HAVE TO BE 1850 pts. MINIMUM.

I have no idea what I did to the command squad, but your right, I adeded something wrong.... well, I'm gonna make a few mods and repost a list soon... this is what happens when I bang out stuff while at work.
As for the land speeders.....
Ravenwing speeder is 55 pts, plus 25 pts for an assault cannon= 80 pts
Space marine speeder is 50 pts, plus 30 for assault cannon.
Basical if you paint it green, it can deep strike but no jink, paint it black, jink but no DS. Either costs the same
I like my attack bikes with the 2+ save, great for turbo boosting...just wish I had that extra wound

You have a 2+ save, so why complain about how many wounds you have. They could get a 2+I save if you boosted. As far as I know, most HQ's and Special Charactors dont get a 2+I save. Thats like saying my termis should get an extra wound, they're good enough.
