Ron and I were discussing how we all have painting that we need to get done and since there is no d&d next sunday, I am declaring it to be...
PAINTING GOODNESS DAY! ======================= This coming sunday (10/07) I will be bringing my paints and such to get some serious work done on some of my long dormant projects. I encourage everyone who has something they need to get done to dust it off and come on down for painting. I will also be bringing some movies from my personal collection so we have some new movies to watch. Expect at least one Chuck Norris film!

Also this sunday I will be bringing my camera and a light to take pictures for the Da Boyz GT website I'm designing. We will still use pictures from last years tourney, but I want some real nice beauty shots as well. The goal here is to have pictures of every 40k army there is. I don't have them all, so I need help from the rest of the Boyz. Here's the deal:
If you want your pictures on the website you must read this. - Private Message me if a slot is open that you want to fill. - Bring your best 5 models from the army. It doesn't need to be a squad, it can be a librarian, chapter master, and three sergeants if you want it to be. Limit 1 Monstrous Creature or vehicle. That means 5 regular models or one huge and 4 regular. - You can sign up for more than 1 army - You can sign up for an army that has already been assigned. Limit three guys per army. - Please try to fill empty slots first.
Army Lists: (Updated as of 10/03 8:15 am) Chaos Space Marines: Norton, Skyth, Kevin Demon Hunters: Skyth Dark Eldar: Doug Eldar: James Imperial Guard: Honor Student Necrons: Brian Orks: Ron Space Marines: James, Special Tau: Empty Tyranids: Empty Witch Hunters: Doug, Special
I will update this list as people PM me.
Just a quick note: The first guy who posts a reply to sign up their army instead of doing what I asked is getting a roundhouse kick to the face, courtesy of Mr. Norris.
Love, James

James - are you just doing 40k for now, or do you want fantasy armies, too?

After the 40k GT the website is going to change gears to a fantasy setting. We'll have another painting goodness day in February and we'll nab the fantasy army pics then.

I plan on staying after boldos officially closes at 6 and keep it open for the Painting goodness day. It would be a great time to really catch u on any paintinng you need to do. Get tips or ideas from other players or just hang out an chat. Maybe catch a bad move or two?

well, out of my two armies i could pop out 5 nicely painted models for each of them, but since you said limit 3 per army, and there are better chaos players AND painters, i am not going to enter my chaos, also because they are in the works of being redone and all my nice models are not usable anymore. I would like to enter my necrons however, but chris' wedding is sunday, so I cant make it out sunday. Could you bring the camera the week after?

Ladies and Gents, we have a winner! Brian, the next time I see you, you are getting 1 free roundhouse kick to da face!
I will be acting as Mr. Norris' surrogate to deliver the kick. Perhaps channeling the power of Chuck may be too much for my puny mortal form, but I shall endure in the name of delivering justice where justice is due.

I just wanted to say thank you to great advice I got on painting, the knowledge that Ice Blue is apparently the most versatile color in the universe , although sadly it is no more. Anyways I look forward to the next painting marathon, and more of Chuck Norris's sage like wisdom.
