Not sure if you've seen them but:
Orc rumours
- Released as first army after the release of 7th edition, so September or October-ish.
Highly probably
- The Animosity table will be altered (current rumour is that when you roll a 1 for an Animosity test you automatically Squabble and if you roll a 6 for the test you get We'll show 'em (increasing the chance of this six-fold). This would be instead of failing on a 1 and then rolling a second dice) (from Games Day Atlanta mid-march)
UPDATE: Apparently, once per game the Orc & Goblin player can also add +3 to all his Animosity tests, meaning units behave normally on a 1-2 and get an extra move on a 3+! (provided by Grimtuff)
UPDATE2: Another source claims that instead of +3, the extra move is automatic (source: Calculon)
- There will be a plastic Orc Warlord kit, similar to the plastic Space Marine Commander kit for 40K sculpted by Alex Hedström (provided by 75hastings69 and confirmed by ex-GW sculptor Felix Panigua)
- There will be an Orc Warlord mounted on a monstrous Boar. This may or may not be a special character (provided by 75hastings69)
- New Wyvern model. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Pot belly has gone and it is wrapped around a rock!! (provided by 75hastings69)
UPDATE: This seems to be Azhag the Slaughterer
- There will be a new plastic Night Goblin regiment which will apparently contain Fanatics (provided by 75hastings69 and confirmed by ex-GW sculptor Felix Panigua)
- There will be new plastic Boar models (hopefully with tails that don't break quite as easily).
- Black Orcs remain Special, but are no longer 0-1. Instead you must have the same number of Black Orc characters and Black Orc units (no mention of whether or not BO characters still take up an additional Hero choice) (source: Calculon)
UPDATE: As many expected, there are rumoured to be a new plastic Black Orc regiment set on the way which gives you all the possible equipment options (great weapons, additional choppas and shields). (source: Flatline)
- Rules for Fanatics and Squigs simplified. Rumours also have hits from Fanatics being -3 to the opponent's armour save rather than negating it. (from Games Day Atlanta mid-march). (Fanatics can be released at beginning of any turns or as a result of a charge or charge reaction. Squigs will become skirmishers).
- Goblin chariots & bolt throwers are 2:1 Special IF you take a goblin general! (source: Calculon)
- Expect most items that lets you avoid Miscasting to be altered while the O&G Miscast table stays about the same. (from Games Day Atlanta mid-march and Calculon)
- Choppas give +1 Strength on the charge even if you have another hand weapon (i.e. two hand weapons would give +1 A AND +1 S when charging instead of one or the other) (source: Calculon)
- A lot of magic weapons will have the abilities of a choppa in addition to being magical (source: Calculon)
- There will be more restrictions in how you pick your units. For example it might not be possible to pick Common Goblin war machines without any Common Goblins in the army, or what race your General is might affect which units are Core / Special, which units are 0-1 and which units are 2 for 1 Special choice.
Probable
- Units that are rarely used (Trolls, Snotlings, Arrer Boyz, etc) get some form of improvement
Black Orcs are special but you MUST take one for each BO character. A nice way to limit the characters by using up special slots! BO get special armed to da teef rule with both choppa's & GW's.
Bicker is now either 1 or 6. And if you fail you stand still - not charge some other poor green sod. So more chance to waagh!.
Also get a super-waagh! as a start of turn option. Cannot be stopped. Each unit gets a Waagh! roll with various additions, so more likely to roll a 6 (or more) and get a waagh! off. (Most likely +3, and results above 6 give something "extra".)
Choppa's can used used with HW&S option and retain bonus with 2 choppa's.
