1. How does one do a toughness test?
2. If you shoot poisoned weapons at ethereal creatures, does it hurt them?
3. If you shoot a magical bow at an ethereal creatures, does it count as a magical attack and can harm it?

1. Roll a D6. If the result is higher than your toughness, then you fail the test.
2. Only if the poisoned weapon is also magical
3. Yes, magic bows provide magical attacks.

Mind you that one of the most common poison weapons you will see is the skaven army, and all of thier poison counts as magical.
But stuff like skinks, wyches, and even other undead like ghouls are not magical.
Like rock said, for toughness test, just roll a D6, if it is equal or less then your T then you are ok, mind you a 6 will always fail even if you are T6 or higher.
This works the same for other tests, like St, or In.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, all shots from magic bows count as magical. I think there may be a tricky thing or 2 in the woodelves, that makes thier shots do special things but not actually count as magic?

4. Do Lizardmen Salamanders and Orge Kingdom Leadbelchers need to roll to hit or do they hit automatically?
5. How do you know when a model doesn't need to roll to hit? like as above for example.
6. Can salamanders march and shoot?

Can salamanders march and shoot? 4. Salamanders roll for how many hits, Leadbelchers roll for how many shots. Thus, sallies auto hit, LBs must roll to hit. 5. Well, reading the rules is one way. See example in 4 above! 6. No.

It will say in the army book for those units. It's not the best worded, but it does say you roll for number of SHOTS for the leadbelchers, which means you then have to roll to hit,
while stuff like the ratling guns and sallies say, Roll for number of HITS, therefore, no roll to hit needed.
Oh and in the main rules book, it says no marching and shooting is allowed. The unit in question will have a special rule saying otherwise, i.e. fast cav or such. And no, even though it might appear that way, sallies shots are not actually "Breath weapons" per se.

So do you roll the artillery dice first for the leadbelchers to represent the number of shots THEN roll those shots to hit? or is it roll to hit first for each leadbelcher then roll artillery dice?

So do you roll the artillery dice first for the leadbelchers to represent the number of shots THEN roll those shots to hit? or is it roll to hit first for each leadbelcher then roll artillery dice? Again, it's in the rules for leadbelchers which tell you exactly how they work. Roll for shots, roll the number of shots to hit, roll to wound, opponent rolls to save, opponent rolls for panic, then rolls for flee distance. In a perfect leadbelcher world, that is...
