Flames of War (FOW): This year’s tournament will be held on Friday July 21st starting at 10 am with three rounds lasting 2.5 hours each. Details as follows.
Each player is responsible for bringing their own 1500-point Mid-War armies drawn from the latest version of the Intelligence Handbooks published by Battlefront before 30 June 2006
Players may submit two lists based on the same company with the same combat platoons
Only weapons platoons and support choices may be different
In addition, one list cannot contain airpower as bad weather missions will be played
All rules contained in the basic Flames of War rulebook, supplemental intelligence books published before 30 June 2006, as well as all experimental rules listed in Lessons from the Front III, will be used
Prizes will be awarded for Best Overall, Best General, Best Painted Army and Sportsmanship
Your overall score will consist of the following:
Historical Army: This includes background of the player’s army, Painting, and its uniformity (points will be scored by the judges)
Generalship: Points come from the score of your games; in additional to normal scoring, 2 points will be awarded for winning the game
Sporting Play: Sportsmanship, or how you conduct yourself during the course of play
Space is limited, so sign up by contacting Eric Lauterbach at: errk68@yahoo.com
You must submit, and have approved, your army list along with its historical background NLT 4 July 2006; failure to comply with either requirement will result in a forfeiture of your entry and the substitution of an alternate
