OK so we've decided to put off the Campaign for a little while in favor of some specialized battles.
Next Tues. bring two warbands ready to play right at 7pm.
First warband will be 300pts (still with no Epics allowed)
Second Warband will be 50pts (No leader needed)
PS: Strahd is no match for Jesus!
Second major battle goes to Kevin and Gina

Yes Strahd was a big disappointment. He shouldn't cost that many points. Anyways, for the 300 point battles are we keeping the 8 max model count or upping it?

As far as I understand how the game is set up. No matter how many points you play, 50 up to 500, your normal model count is never greater than 8. The only time this changes is if you play a model with specail rules such as summoning or your horde zombies for instance.
I don't know if there is a hard fast rule for at what point cost you add in Epics?

Rules say epics are allowed in games of 500 or more.

Dragon is one tough hombre. He's going to require some sort of uber effecient warband or gimik warband to bring down. I think we are going to need more minis!  Still looking for information on when the 1000ium thing is starting on sat. |

D&D minis has several advantages over other games that we've seen recently.
First of all it is fairly cheap to get into. About $45 should allow you to get in and not get crushed, being one starter set and two boosters.
You don't have to ever play the same war band twice since there are so many combinations.
The minis are great to use for normal D&D which most of us already play and the rules are very similar as well.
Another major bonus is that a game can be done it about 30-45 min. which means it's easy to get multiple games in.
It has nothing to do with games workshop!

The theme for this coming week Tuesday was decided and is "Bring the Big Boyz" 500pts of epic mayhem! ...Um.... no dragons bigger than huge tho as they are buckets of beating and broken. Dragons 2.... McCommander and C4 zero!  |

The theme for this coming Tues is as Norton put it, "@ss-kicking". Bring your most bad-@ss 200pts, tournament list, that would make Special cry.
PS: Epic Raistlin is cheesy as hell and as you would expect C4 used him to dominate. (although he has vowed to never use him again.)
