Looks good for the most part.
The skink units are too big, though and dont need command. The champion is more a detriment than a help in this kind of unit.
See if you can find the points for a unit of 3 kroxigor or a salamander pack.

Wow, that s a lot of points in characters ... and only 7 units. IMHO you will make winning games difficult with this army as it is.
1 4th Gen Slann (Plaque of Protection, Plaque of Tepok, Diadem of Power, War Banner)
Meh, this guy is OK. However, most of the more successful LM builds I've seen make use of lots of marks of Tepok and little in the way of magical offense. I'd recommend going that route instead since magic is very seldom worth what you pay for in fantasy and magical defence for many armies is extremely cheap (like LM for instance). You could get an oldblood on carnosaur for roughly the same price as this guy and probably get a whole lot more out of it. Or you could get a jago-oldblood and spend the rest on more troops.
1 Scar Vet (Light armor, shield, Itzl, Quetzl, Cold One, Scimitar of the Sun Resplendant)
Personally, I'd swap the quetzyl for Tepok but he looks pretty good otherwise.
1 Skink Chief (Sword of Might, Feathered cloak, shield, light armor, scouts)
Isn't aplain old nike vet cheaper and better in combat? Sure, this guy is different but IMHO he won't do nearly as much.
1 Skink Priest (Mark of the Old ones, level 2, Cube of Darkness)
You are paying a big chunk of points for a gimick. I'd drop this guy or turn him into a scroll caddy or something.
20 Saurus Warriors (Full command, Tepok, Quetzl) 16 Saurus Warriors (Spear, Full Command, Quetzl)
Warriors look pretty good on paper but leave much to be desired on the table top ... especially when you have 7 units on the field. You need more threat to force enemies into these units and you don't have them. Try dropping both units to 10 and using the points saved for more troops ... drop the command as well if you do this ... you also don't need the marks on them although quetzyl is quite good.
14 Skinks (Scouts, Brave) 14 Skinks (Brave) 14 Skinks (Brave)
Ditch the units champs. 4 units of 10 is always better than 3 units of 14.
5 Saurus Cav (Full Command, Standard of Huanachi)
Being cold-blooded pretty much makes a musician obsolete for these guys. Also, I'm not sure you will need a unit champ either.
6 Chameleon Skinks (Brave)
I'm assuming your list is based upon what you have. I'd recommend using these guys as a 4th/5th unit of 10 skinks ... scouting if you wish.
You really need more units. As John mentioned a unit or two of kroxigors would really come in handy and a unt of sallies and/or a steg would be of great benefit as well.

I suspect that your unit of 16 Suarus is for the Slan. In that case drop the spears. Whith the slan in the unit you won't get the extra spear attacks.
Skinks work very well in units of just 10.
I like the Cham skinks. Some people say they aren't worth their points but I disagree. It's what they get for you that decides if they are worth their points or not.

Yeah, the lists are 'build a list with what I have available' type lists.
Thanks for the advice on the spear in the slann unit. I didn't think of the ranks being taken up by the slann.
I'm not trying to make a killer list, but more of a friendly lists that people don't complain about having to play against.
I thought including full command is one of the hallmarks of a 'friendly' list, though I don't understand why a champ in the skinks and the musician in the Cold ones is a detriment. (Don't musicians turn tied battles in your favor still?)
What I have for Lizards is -
Carnosaur 2 Slann (Yes, two...) Saurus character on Cold One 2 Saurus heroes on foot 1 Skink priest w/mark of the old ones 1 Skink hero 33 skinks w/short bows (Typically I use them as Jav/shield). 3 Skink champions w/short bows 12 skinks w/Javelins 12 skinks w/blowguns (1 is champ) 20 Saurus w/Hand weapon/shield (Includes full command) 16 Saurus w/Spears (Includes full command) Temple Guard command (Swap out the command for the spears to turn the spears into temple guard) 5 Jungle swarm 6 Chameleons 5 Cold One Riders (Includes full command).

As far as champs in the skinks - it's fine to have them to be a nice guy, until an opponent challenges and beats the snot out it and gains +4 combat res. He'll thank you for spending the extra 5 points....

Wouldn't he get it anyways from killing the normal skinks plus dropping the number in the unit a lot lower...?

No, remember in a challenge you may "overkill" up to 5 wounds. Now think about the other regular troops beating on the other skinks....

But the overkills don't actually kill any models, they just count towards combat res, or am I confused?

OK -
say, Chaos lord Zippy challenges your brave. He has the unholy sword of beatdown (say, +d6 wounds in challenges) and not only kills your brave, but does a full 5 wounds to him.
+5 CR so far.
Zippy is accompanied by 6 chosen warriors of Khorne. Now these guys get to swing at all the dead brave's buddies. Swinging badly, they only do 5 wounds.
This is now +10 combat res, not counting size, banners etc..
Sure this is extreme, but you should get the jist of it.

I'm kind of thinking that anything somewhat combat-oriented that gets in combat with my skinks, my skinks are dead anyways, so what's the point? Might as well get the champ to help kill things at range.

ah, yeah. Three long time players have just told you the exact same advice. We must not know what you know....

If the brave gave an extra shot it might be worth it, but he dosn't so just buying an extra guy turns out better.

Lets make you a shopping list....
3-8 kroxigors (100% need these. I wouldn't make a list without them. I would take these over CoR's) 3 Salamander packs (about 75% need these) 1 Stegadon (50%. I loved mine but alot people don't)
These will help you out.
BTW I do love suarus chars on Coldones. Give him mark of quetzl and a ward save and he's a killy armored truck.
