OK, apparently this can't be laid to rest, so let's just move it to where it belongs shall we?
Again I ask, How is this:
any more good natured than this?
Is it my choice of smileys?
It was meant in the same way as this:
To which you followed up with this:
Maybe you should follow your own advice here, or is this another of your double standards?
I'm pretty sure that Terry organized those meetings.
Hopefully this will somewhat head off MOST of the confusion BEFORE we play.
I ask everyone to get a list of questions(2 or 3) together that we can address at this"discussion"
There is still 1(maybe 2) Chaos spots open, imperial spots are FULL.
He did a very good job throughout of communicating with all of us.
And I made the first post for a meeting for Fall Out,
but really it's a frickin email, not too strenuous for most folks, I had been reminded time and again that it was Matt's show, so I didn't suggest a date, so you got me by 10 extra keystrokes.
Well let's see... I came up with a rockin name for it ( )
I tried on several occassions to discuss ideas for it.
I made suggestions on who could play bugs, when that was a concern.
I tried on several occassions to get our organizer to post something.
I offered to take minutes for the meeting, provide transportation for boards, terrain, etc, and lend a hand with set up and break down.
What did you do? You posted some dates for a meeting, you volunteered Doug (who isn't even playing in this game) to contact Travis to see if we can play there again and to cart his board/terrain from the sticks to the city.
Last time I think you took meeting minutes and sat around watching us set up and break down. Way to hold down that chair man, good job!
Complain and moan? you got that covered for Fall out as well:
No, don't bring WS3 BS3 S3 T3 A1 Sv 6+ gaunts in a nid army, anything but that!
Imperials will be force to split thier fire 4 diffrent ways while nids only need to concentrate one way. This sounds like a sluaghter fest in the bugs favor. Also a few well placed lictors could spell doom for one or possibly 2 of the approaches if done correctly. Also imagine the Havoc templates would cause if 4-6 armies had to deploy in a limtied area while the Nids on the outsides wouldnt have to worry about that as much.
One or two of the Imperial Players that I can think of immediately, thought this was a great idea BTW, lest I be accused of bias.
Now who's the martyr, give me a break.
My intention was never to sabotage this or take over, it seems like you got the market cornered there my friend.
I simply wanted to get things rolling with communications, etc and was getting tired of the one who said at least 3 times that he wasn't running the show, seeming to think that he was the law and decider.
I also am sick of people not doing what they say they will. If you can't commit to something, don't plain and simple.
I'm sure others were thinking it. No one wanted to say anything because for some reason everyone is afraid of the wrath of the Iron Whiner.
Now, you thought I was trying to aggravate you and be a prick before? This, my friend, is me being a prick! Take it how you will, get your last word in, whatever. I've wasted far too much time on this already. Once I'm finished typing, I'm over this. Maybe you can get over it too (and I hope you do), maybe not, only time will tell.
Again I ask, How is this:
In fact I dont much care now that I think of it....I hope you are happy playing Fantasy and enjoy that game system and playing with the square base-ers. In fact let me know how I can see that you continue to play fantasy and not 40k and I will see what I can do to support it! ;D
any more good natured than this?
planning to hide away with the square basers?
Is it my choice of smileys?
It was meant in the same way as this:
Ah, couldnt beat a Real imperial player so now your going for easier prey, Soleman? ;D
To which you followed up with this:
Man people grow some tougher skin. Seriously its like people take every little jab as a personal attack
Maybe you should follow your own advice here, or is this another of your double standards?
Well it seemed to work for the last two events. I had no problem from the players when I offered to help and orginized meetings and whatnot.
I'm pretty sure that Terry organized those meetings.
At some point before the next Apoc. game, we are going to get together to "discuss" any discrepinces we may have in regards to Apoc. rules.
Hopefully this will somewhat head off MOST of the confusion BEFORE we play.

Also we should try to arrange another meeting to discuss rules limitations whether we are changing or adding/ditching any from last time and firm up get commitment from people to play.
but really it's a frickin email, not too strenuous for most folks, I had been reminded time and again that it was Matt's show, so I didn't suggest a date, so you got me by 10 extra keystrokes.
Seriously...what have you done for Fall Out? Can you honestly answer that?

And who else plays bugs? Sorry I dont see it happening in large scale. Your welcome to run your own side thing.
Already this is sounding like a let down
Heck next your be telling me that youll be taking flank march and careful plaining so all your Guants can come in on the opponents side on turn 1 and charge. Sounds enjoyable. /sarcasm off
These were the type of things we wanted to avoid seeing when we had the first meeting before summer slam. 600 guants with endless swarm? 59 Fexes? 18 Flying Tyrants? Id rather see the unkillable Bio Titan than any of those.

Considering the teams, I think it would be a bad layout in favor of the nids.

Any Imperial Player PM if you want a spot in this event that "may never run". You can have mine.
