TRUDDY-GON, YOUR LOYALTY TO THE ALLIANCE HAS BEEN NOTED. I COLLECTED MORE INFORMATION THAT YOU GENTLEMEN COULD IMAGINE. IF YOU ALL USED YOUR HEADS, INSTEAD OF 3 DIFFERENT TABLE ALLIANCES (ALA BORING), THE STRATEGIC THING WOULD HAVE BEEN:
TAKING OUT THE TOURNAMENT POINTS LEADER IN STEAD OF KISSING EACH OTHERS A$$ FOR SIX HOURS. JUST THINK ABOUT HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE YOU TO CATCH UP TO "ORRRRRRRRRRRVI-EL THE MAD!
"JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT, IT'S NOT LIKE I DELIBERATELY START SOMETHING.
P.S. NORTON I HAVE CAPTAIN UNPAINTED, I'LL RETURN HIM NEXT TOURNEY AND THANKS FOR HELPING ME. HE TOOK NO WOUNDS, BUT THEN AGAIN NO ONE IN MY ARMY DID. CIAO!

I actually agree with ya Dragon, I think all the top 5 got the same amount of points as all those below them. While it is still too early to call anything, noone has caught up this week.
It would have been easy for a couple of players to gain up on Orville on the main table.
Of course I have to pat myself on the back for surviving despite being backstabbed by soleman, while also fighting James and Brian.
My weirdboy saved my a s s.

Well, there was a methodology to where people were assigned. Orville was placed on the larger table with a few people from the top to middle rankings and Terry was put on another table with people from the middle rankings and the table down stairs was the lower rankings. So If things worked out idealy, Terry, Orville and Tom could have been removed from the lead and someone downstairs could have been catapulted into the middle to high standings assuming people actually killed each other. But as we saw things dont always go as they are planned. hehehe It was a cool outcome either way and I had a good laugh at the treachery!

Once my other "team mates" deserted me, and James approached me with the "I'll leave you alone if you leave me alone," The thought came to mind that Terry and I could take him out, or James and I tied in the competition could take out the second place guy.
There was definite forethought to the first back stab of that game. Nothing personal to Terry, and all is fair in war.

So the methodology behind the game was to take the top 3 players and spread them out on 3 tables with the intent that if all works out ideally, they would be overwhelmed and forced to drop from the high point standing they had earned? And that players in lower standings could be catapulted to the top of the rankings? Interesting. I am just glad that Soleman got a ride home

Well Garou, I thought it would make for a more intersting Leauge if we challanged our top players instead of consistly feeding them points with unchallanging missions and or opponents/armies. Of course the situation was all left in the hands of the other players what they wanted to do and the methodology of the set up was not revealed until the end. It shows us that not only are the top players good, but wicked smart to avoid conflict with thier other rivals. I was hoping that some of the people in the lower rankings would rise up in the standings as not to have a stagnant ranking system that would allow people to be just buried on the bottom with no hope. It tends to give players a little more incentive to stay in the League and play. I like to encourage players to first and foremost paint in my league but also stay around to the end and play. It makes it more enjoyable for all involved. And fear not players there will be more equalizer events in the league, we will challange those top spots and try to get people up there to rival Orville, Terry and Tommy....or maybe they are just too good?

In fact Soleman was on the verge of going out while i was sorta safe.
