Escalation league proposed 2200 pt list

Here is the list i want to build towards for my custom chapter based off the BloodAngels Codex.

Now I dont feel bad about posting rules/points for everything in this list as the entire codex is available for free download off the GW site.

I've got some ideas kicking around for different chapter names and some interesting idea's for fluff etc. But here is the list I like so far.


150 Force Commander, Jump Pack, Lightning Claws

Thanks for posting this list Mike.

Negatives
1) I don't like the fact that only 11 out 17 (18 Death Co.) slots are fill @ 2200 points.

2) Only 3 scoring units under Troop selection, (Scouts are Elites).

Positives
1) Good mix of Blood Angel Characteristics
2) A Blood Angel Character
3) Death Company in a Rhino
4) Venerable Furioso Dreadnought in a drop pod.

Our Blood Angel Armies will be quite Different, it will be fun to
play them as a team and against each other. I haven't played
Marines in 2 years, I got a lot of painting to do.

Hey Dragon, post up your 2k list, lets see what all these differences are!

As soleman pointed out, i was cheating by 40 points by not charging for the rhino, reading is key apparently...

I know it's only about 800 points on Troops, but i would have to start dropping fun fluffy units so i can add in more tac squads.

I guess i could field a 10man in a rhino to run up and fight. We'll see, what would i drop to free up that 275 points though?

Mike, I shall post my army list within a week, unless I get detained.

But it will include all these new models:
1) Elite choice: Death Co. with Jet packs and a Chaplin.
2) 3 Rhino's and a Razorback for transports.
3) Fast attack: attack bike +
4) Fast attack: Bike squad
5) heavy: Baal tank and a Predator
6) Elite squad with Stormbolters

I can keep our armies different by 20% by not using:
Drop Pods, Devastators or Scouts in my list.
