I am adding a section to our web site spotlighting Daboyz and their armies. With Pics and descriptions.
I am going to start with the participants of the Escalation Painting League and hope to have pics and bits on why you chose to add what each week.
This will also help show "Who DaBOYZ are"
What i need to start is just your "army name" and the codex you will be using.

If I read what Tommy wrote correctly, he's going to start with the painting escalation and expand from there. Anyways...

I wouldn't take this restriction as an affront in any way.
Tommy has made a commitment to our group to improve what we as a community have. He, like all us, has a limited amount of time and energy that he has to dedicate to this project, especially considering he is rapidly approaching the day when his child will be born.
Speaking from experience, an undertaking of this magnitude is not a light one, and I am grateful to Tommy for being so generous with his time. He has made a decision to build the core around the painting league, and if it successful, to expand it to include the greater collection of da boyz. The reason isn't to punish people who aren't in the league, but simply to make the project one that he is capable of completing in a timely fashion.
We all work very hard on these armies, too hard I sometimes think, but the important thing to remember is that this was an idea born of kindness, not ill will.
There are consequences to every decision we make, some we perceive as positive, some we perceive as negative. You still have every opportunity to sign up for the escalation league and to participate in this additional feature. If you choose to stay out, it will be your choice to not have this extra feature in the short term.
And when it comes down to it, either way you'll be on the website, just a question of when.

Also, keep in mind that those of us in the league are only getting one army featured for the short term. I imagine Tommy (or a helper) will expand it to all the armies in time.

I guess that means its not a big deal then for those that are left out. Its a nice gesture, just wish it included all of the DaBoyz not a select few. I look forward to seeing everyone elses armies on the site. Time is getting short, Oct 5th is right around the corner.
