Hey, I just got into a 3.5 campaign, and I started with a Goliath Fighter, and we all started at level eight (so, naturally, I'm only at seven...*sigh*). We used the point-buy system, so I'm pretty one-sided; after racial modifiers and that one ability modifier from reaching level four, I'm at a 20 str, 20 con, I think 11 dex, 10 int, 10 wis, and 6 charisma. Right now, my equipment includes a magic Mountain Plate (from the Races of Stone Book), and a masterwork buckler. I also have a Large-sized Crazed Goliath Greathammer of Impact, which, imho, is a little imba. On a critical hit, if I roll average (of 3d6 I'm pretty sure is about a 9-10), I deal around 70 ish damage, and that's WITHOUT taking any out for power attack. The feats I took thus far are: Power Attack, Cleave, Improved Sunder (I think I get around a +16 modifier on sundering crap...), Auspicious Markings, Markings of the Warrior, Heavy Armour Optimization, and improved weapon familiarity (I think that's what it's called; it allows my hammer to be martial, not exotic, so I took it). I've got a 25 AC right now, and I rolled 86 for hit points. I'm pretty happy with the character thus far, but I was wondering where you guys would go with it. I've got an idea, but I'm not really sure. Basically, I'm looking to make him really good, but not uber. I want to have fun with the character, but I'd like to know what you guys think, both of the character and where you guys would go with it.

You may want to look into increasing your jump skill and and then get the feat "Leap of the Heavens" . I know at least one char. that this worked out well for. ;D Also the feat "Cometary Collision" is a great deal of fun,

What book are those out of?
EDIT: Nvm, I found them...they look pretty cool, but I'm not sure what I'd do with the "leap of the heavens"...

C4, is the expert here.
Leap of the heavens, now that I'm looking at it, may be the prerequisite. There is a feat, that on a sucessful jump check allows you to increase your bonus to damage on the charge. I guess I can't remeber the name of it as I've been playing 4.0 too much now! ;D
