Simcon Team tournament March 28 and 29

Couple comment on Simcon.

There is going to be one day 40K team tournament and fantasy tournament. There will be prizes for each and prizes for combined scores for 40k and fantasy.

The Team tournament will follow the same rules as Adepticon except for these will be two person team (not 4 person).

We will be also using Adepticon f*g for the tournament.

The point will either be 1000 per person (2000 per team) or 1250 per person (2500 per team).

I will hopefully know in the next few days.

Sim Con is at the U of R, entry is 10-15 bucks usually.

Since this is going to be a team tourney in 40k, i would suggest that it should be a team tourney for fantasy too

The 40k tournament will be on Sunday. Fantasy on Saturday.

The registration will be start at 9:00 am.

The first game will start at 9:30 sharp.

Here is the preliminary schedule;

First game 9:30 to 12:00
Second game 12:30 to 2:30
Third game 3:00 to 5:30

More info to come later, but we are going to be using alot of rules will be take right from adepticon.

Painting
You can borrow, steal or use any ones army, but to be able to win painting (appearance) the army has to be painted 90% by at least one of the players in the team.

Is Team Spirit, Individual Army contributions, Overall clarity, Depth of Theme and Display Base going to be Judged?

They will be judged, but not harshly. It is local gt for people to just to have fun.

At this point i have figure out what prizes will be given out.

at the min i would like to give out prices for the top two teams and painting theme award.

So don't kill yourself on building banners and getting speical shirts.
