Ok ladz, the 108th Ghosts 40K gaming club is at it again. Our next event will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Hobby Town USA in Amherst, NY (Buffalo,NY for the out of towners).
In keeping with the theme of April Fools Day, we have dubbed this event THe King Of Fools Tourney. This is a double elimination bracket style event, so the more people we have the better. As ussual the day of the event the doors will open at 9:30a.m. for registration and play will begin promtly at 10a.m. Prizes will be determined by the number of players that show for the event.
Army Details:
Points 1850 Each army must have the following. 1 HQ 2 Troop 1 Fast Attack 1 Elite 1 Heavy Support
**You must have a list with the above, in order to qualify as a legal event army. This does not mean that you can't have more of each unit type, as long as the above Force Org. Chart requirements are fullfilled.**
Entry Fee: $20.00 and must be paid at the time of sign up for the event. Exceptions will be made for those travelling long distances to take part in the event.
Prizes: Will be announced closer to the tournament date and be determined by the number of participants.

do they require fully painted armies? I don't have any fast attack, but I planned on buying some land speeders eventually anyway....

Do we have an idea what missions will look like? Standard from the book? Randomly roll for missions? Scenario play?
Last couple tournements i have played in have varied wildly in format is why i ask...

Hi,
My name is John Burke, I used to play regularly with Da Boyz in various tournaments, until I moved to Albany. I've played Tyranids and chaos regularly, and am working on an IG Army (The work of years...). The Army is moving me back to Buffalo in the Fall/ spring 2010. Can you sent me specific information on the 108th warhammer club in Buffalo (POC's events etc)
Thanks John Burke dwiezal@aol.com

Hey John. Welcome back.
I don't think they have anything formal like a web page. it is my understanding that they have two places they play. one is being hobby town.
