 Hi Jay! It's good to be back soon in Western New York. I'm the new Commander of the Brigade Special Troops Battalion in Buffalo. Havn't decided where to live yet, but I expect I'll be moving in the fall. I'm still working on my cursed IG...although I can field huge numbers, it's just not the perfect Armored Cavalry Regiment yet...so hopefully once I get settled Anton and I can start getting games in with everyone. ....that sounds like it changes an awful lot. They expect us to show up 2 days to play? so drive 60 miles there, 60 miles back, twice? Thats not going to happen.

I PM'ed him to find out how we should handle it, but not sure if he will get back to us by then. I suppose we can have our own qualifiers this week here, cause driving there twice is definitely not happening. Worse case I can call my game against Chris Sunday my qualifier and give him my spot.. Who knows though I will keep you all posted.. |

Yeah given the distance it would be unreasonable to expect you to travel to Buffalo to play a qualifier. If you give me the names of all six players, I will randomly match you guys up for your games. Once each game is complete just send me the names of the winners and I will make sure that a spot for each person is held. Your group will have a max of three spots open. The games should be played with your tourney list, max time limit of 2 hrs or to the completion of 5 turns which ever happens first. Games should be played on 4 x 6 tables if possible.. So this sounds like what we will do, I will give pairings when I give them, we can work around time conflicts if needed. Is everyone going to be there Thursday to discuss? |

Sigh, i was afraid this was going to happen after i talked to Ron on sunday. He mentioned then that at the last tournement they only had room for about 5 tables and one was severely squased into a corner...
If that's the case i'm set to bail on this plan. I wouldnt' mind playing a couple normal games at the normal places instead...
