So here is the general plan for this year as I see it right now. we will start Friday night at around 6pm with a 3 round tournament of around 750pts for 40k, fantasy and Warmachine. we will also have a golden daemon style paint competition.
Saturday will start our 5 round tournament for all three games. (I need people to run the fantasy and warmachine) Saturday night we will head to the bars in armory square (if we hold the tournament at the Renaissance they will provide a shuttle to armory square and back)
Sunday we will do a blood bowl tournament and finish up the others. followed up with an award ceremony.
a couple of notes: I would like to create a circuit with both Rochester and Possibly the Warmongers (for at least the 40k end of things) to add a new level to the tournament, to try and bring in more players for all tournaments evolved.
I am fixing in on august 7th through 9th, games day Chicago is two weeks earlier. and GenCon is the following week in Indy. I don't think either would cut into our turnout much.
The Binghamton Gamers want to throw a mega battle so they will do that also Friday night.
Also if we get enough clubs evolved have an award for best club showing.
any thoughts?

could I get a head count of Da Boyz willing to make the trip for a 3 day tournament in Syracuse in August. I just am trying to get an idea of the number of people who might show for getting a space. if another month would be better for you please let me know.

last time we went we drive out Saturday morning and and stayed only Saturday night.
I am assume if you did not want to play in the Friday night games you could still drive out Saturday morning.
I think 4 of us came last time.

OK, we are getting a sweet deal on space at the Renaissance So I want to hold the event there. Rooms will be $99 a night. However none of the weekends in August works for people in Syracuse for one reason or another. The last weekend in July is open what do people think of that as a time for the event?
