I actually get off work at 2:00pm that day in case we left early. I would like to go up and hang out for a while, so I will probably go up with you Doug.

If we all want to leave early then I could drive the van. Just a thought.

That is an idea Alex. Will the van make it though? I was planning on talking to Shaun this weekend, hopefully he wil be able to leave earlier as well. I would like to get there at a reasonable hour but dont want to leave just one person behind to drive alone. I will let you know.

I think it will be fine and five is very doable in the van. I have done a lot of long trips recently with both of them and we should be okay.

It was a blast...
Shaun - 2nd Mike - 5th Doug - 15th
The only thing that was really a bite was Shaun and I had to play each other in round 5. I was the leader in battle points @ 52 Shaun had 50. He ended up with a minor victory beating me 11-7. I really would rather have played the overall winner Patrick in the end instead of Shaun. Sucks to drive 180 miles to play someone you could have stayed home for. So Shaun ended up getting Best General and I tied for 3rd.

It was a good time, two wins, two ties and a loss. I guess things would have gone better if I hadn't have tanked my first game. I wish it was easier to score a crushing victory rather than a minor victory since most games tended to end in 9/9 or 11/7 split and that made it difficult to pull away from the pack. All in all it was alot of fun and will be something I will do again next year, just wish more of the regular guys here would join us up there (hint, hint).

Missed seeing you there Jason but I guess only the best players ever make it to Toronto, so we understand... ;D
In regards to Patrick's list, you are correct that he did have about 9 FP. Normally that isn't an issue because you start runnning low on any prolonged, dragged ot combats. Where Shaun had problems was that his oppenent dropped the FP's during the phase rather than at the beginning of the phase as specified by the rules (yes, I know divine gudiance is used during the phase...). It makes it easy to conserve points when you wait to see if you get wounded by PWs or fists before dropping the invunerable save, etc. Also they only made it into turn 4. Shaun started to get over the top when the round ended. As you know most Sisters don't do well in CC especially against that army (death guard). Patrick did have a beautifully painted army (except for the guard units that have no place in a Sisters army, 2 melta guns in a 5 man squad=cheese) and was a decent enough guy, but given that matchup again Shaun crushes him 9 out of 10 times with his army.
Again Mate, sorry not to see you there. Next year perhaps?
