Okay we are down to the last month and a half. Jay is right we need to talk about things. I will be at the store this weekend we need ot settle what we are doing, work on terrain, decide on the final procedure for boards, and get a poster made up. We should be taking fliers to the Toronto GT, Maurader GT, and get some to Syracuse.
I hope some of you can be at the store on Sunday.

Alex
I am working on terrain and should have at least two boards done, upwards of four. We do need to decide how many boards ( the actual wooden pieces) that we will need and who will get them and how. I think we could use 1/4" masonite cut into 2'x4' piece. It is sturdy and relatively cheap, costing about $10 a table. Particle board or plywood will be far more costly.
As or the flyer/poster, I am working on it. I need all pertinent information like dates, time, location, cost and contact info so I can build it. I am planning on using the artwork James posted. Please give me this info here and I will have some prototype flyers on Sunday. I work in printing and should be able to do these at work.
You are right Alex, we need a firm commitment now from everyone on what they are doing. Let's sound off here, on thursday and this weekend, and get this party started!

Jay started a good list of concerns and action items that need addressing, these can be be expanded in many area's. First thing comes to mind is house rules for some of the gray areas when playing 40K may be a hand out sheet before the first round. Also the flier would help a lot as I have 4 possible players from the Coyote's Den interested in playing, I'm not listing anything else right now because I'm at work. I think a pre-sign up sheet would give us a minimum number of players from our group and maybe with a $10 place holder up front, that could be use to by the boards which would be then donated to your store, (not the personal ones already create by the volunteers for their own use), or what ever up front expenses you may encounter. Major S.O.B. I used 1/2 inch Masonite 2 x 4 boards from Home Depot @ $5.50 a sheet, (check the flatness). I'LL BE A BALDO'S THURSDAY 31st OF AUGUST TO PLAY "THE MIGHTY BLOODTHIRST." IF I HAVE A CHANCE TO COME IN SUNDAY, I WILL, POST A TIME PEOPLE CAN PLAN TO! HAVE A NICE DAY, CIAO!

Cowboy, I will send you a PDF when I am finished, hopefully by the weekend.
1/2" masonite sounds good Dragon (Challenges accepted in the CHALLENGE section, and I can only beat your ass on weekends... ;D)
I am not sure about the house rules you were referring to, we are planning on playing 40K from the rules book, 4th edition, you know the one that you won;t open more than twice a game... ;D Seriously though, what specific house rules do you feel need to be clarified or announced? I did hear that any tables that had "different" terrain would be accompanied with fact sheets explaining them.

Major S.O.B.,I need to go back through rules questions on this website that were not resolved. I saved the bar code number off the material I purchased from the Home Depot, the bar code is: 7-18793-15124-2 which is: 1/2 x 24 x 48 inch PDF HAND I-PANEL. This what I did: 1) Put a small radius on all edges by sanding (harder to ding edges) 2) Rolled on latex primer, primer had tan-brown pigment added 3) Terrain affects added by spray painting brown,2 different greens, black & gray. 4) "YOU MUST VACUUM OFF ALL THE OVER SPRAY DUST" "If you don't,I can't even describe the mess." 5) Brush on polyurethane if you want hard a surface to roll dice on. "WARNING if you do not live in your own home with a garage DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS.You need full ventilation and it will smell like rotting blue cheese for a week."If I stop in Sunday @ BALDO'S,it will only be for a few minutes, as of now. Hey FYI (to those in Charge)
My good bro before closing his store "claimed" all the stores 2*4 table sections and terrain as his own.
He has no problem lending it all out for out tourney but someone would have to make the trip when the time comes. Not sure how many tables it is but i think at his last tourney he had settings for 8-10 4*6 tables (Will get a number soon)

Chris C has enough terrain for 6 tables, but no boards to put it on. He usually uses the Green mats.

I have 3 2'x4' particle boards that I use for a table. Currently unpainted, but that can be fixed. (Plan on it anyway) No terrain for them, but they can be used. I offered early on, but that all gets lost in the chaos. Unfortunately, thats about all I can commit to helping out. Not even sure I can make the GT. (Hoping).
