Coyote's Den has a Tournament this Sunday,we need to get flyer's down there. I'm at Baldo's Thursday night, I'm not sure if I can play Sunday, or deliver them. I hope we can get four players out of the 25 to 30 players they have. CIAO!

I put something up on the store near me's forums (gamehaven "http://www.gamehavenhobbies.com/forums/"). I was going hit Dakkadakka and DP with a blurb soon. I was just going to put up the GW tourney info and the flyer link. Is this what others are doing?

Sounds good Jeff. We passed out several dozen flyers in Canada this weekend. Any sites you can link the pdf to would be appreciated.

Tommy,
If your brother has tables we can use then I guess we need to figure how to get them. I can drive out on October 1 or the the next weekend with a van if this works.

There are some great terrain ideas in the fantasy rule book under special features. If you are still looking to make boards this is a great place to start .

I posted something on DakkaDakka about the tourney someone had a question;
"Is the $30 price include admission to the convention? Or, is that seperate.
Also, is there anyway of knowing how many slots are left?
I ask, because it is probably a 7 hour drive and I would hate to get there then find out that the event is canceled due to lack of participation."
I just checked the online preregister there are 17 spots taken so I am assuming we are defintly a go concerning that part of the question above. Anybody know about the $30 question?

According to Alex the $30 is an all inlusive price meaning that if you are playing just our tourney you do not need to also pay for Rudicon as well. I will double check with him and make certain but this was my understanding. The tourney is definitely a go see you there!

Not to derail your organization discussion here, but have you guys worked out any more information for the 40k half of the tournament? - special (or house) rules - comp system - scenarios? - relative value of scores painting/comp/general - what army Shaun is bringing so I can SMASSH! The info looks complete on the fantasy side, just wondering about 40k.

House rules and scenarios have not been decided to the best of my knowledge, however I don't see anything that differs too much from the basic rule book. I suppose if we play by the rules as written it should be fun. Courtney, Jay and Shaun will be doing both the painting and comp judging. Fear not though, they all will not be playing last that I heard, with the exception of one of them if a pacer is needed due to an odd number of participants. I will talk with them later this week and get confirmation.

I just had a quick question about the objectives that are needed for the GT. Are there any size requirements for them?

I was just looking online, do we need the 3 messangers and objectives or is this the standard GW template?
If so I need to get crack on some 1KSons objectives and messenger's!

It would be nice, but anything will do (for example you can use tokens).
