Is there a way to simplify getting to this board from that site? Right now as it stands when I click on the Message Board tag it takes me to what looks to be just a page to enter a random comment. The link to here is not very obvious and easy to miss. It should be much bigger, or the link should come directly here.

Looks good. The escalation League thing, looks all thrown together, You dont know whos army is whos, no results posted for the last two years or a desription of what it is. I would like to see a little more done with it.
I would like to see the gallery added back to the page showing Name, army and pics of the army with perhaps a little description near it. Like "Deez are DaBoyz" giving a little info on each person.
James! Put your comics On the page or a link to them! I like the flash pictures but it seems too bland atm. Needs more pictures. I like how the last one had pics of random figures at the side or on top of the page.
Other wise it looks really good. Alot more orgnized and easier to navigate.

To address some of the concerns so far:
There is a sticky post on the front page with a big old link straight to the message boards. Hopefully that will clear up any confusion. I also kept the message board page so that visitors can see it no matter where they are on the site.
I've added an escalation league summary for 2008. There is a brief description of what the league is about, who participated, and what happened.
EDIT: If someone has more detailed results from the 2005/06 escalation league, PM them to me.
I also updated the army blog posts with a small info block at the top so that you know they're for the escalation league and whose army you're looking at.
I changed the name of the 'about' page to 'who are da boyz?' This has a pretty exhaustive list of our active members are what armies they play. I'm sure there's information missing, if your name or all your armies aren't on that list, PM me and I'll add them.
For more shiny things, I'm putting together a media page. I agree that more pictures are in order, but I don't want to sacrifice the clean design we have now.
More requests? Fire away boyz.

So does this mean I can stop paying for the other one now? As much as I like wasting money I would like to turn it off as soon as I can.

Who is the domain registered through? Would they allow us to keep the domain name and just redirect it to the new site?

It would be possible to just write a redirect code, but the web site would still have to be paid for the code to work, otherwise it would just shut down.
I know Tommy is interested in the html site continuing on. I would at least contact him to see if he's interested in taking that project over.

Right now the domain is registered through godaddy.com. Its $7/month and then about $30 every 2 years to register the domain. I just paid the $30 in November, so that won't happen for a while.
I talked to Tommy last week. He is going to let me know.

If he doesn't do anything, I'll take over the payments. You shouldn't have had to carry this expense by yourself.

You should be able to maintain the domain registration through Go Daddy without paying for hosting or maintaining a site with them. Just update the DNS record to point to the new daboyz site.

Correct. You registered your domain with godaddy, but now they do not host the actual site. Any hits for the old site will redirect to the new one. The new site with looking nice. Having 2 websites I think would confuse things.
