This tournament will take place on the 20th of February at Jupiter Games in Vestal, NY.
Jupiter Games
3701 Vestal Pkwy E
Vestal, NY 13850
(607) 729-5910
Cost is $10 per person ($20 per team). Pre-registration is not required but it is encouraged. Just call the store and tell them you plan to play.
We've got $150 of prize support guaranteed plus we'll increase the amount based on how many people show up.
Soft-scores will be used however they will not be weighted as heavily as past BCAdeptus events. You need to win games to win this tournament. Details TBD.
The format will be Constructed Doubles (Bring a partner and a List). Each person will bring a 1000 point list. We are NOT following an allies matrix, you may ally with any army.
The TEAM gets one Standard Force Org Chart.
Each player must use one HQ slot and one Troop slot.
No player may have more then two of any slot except troops, which is limited to three slots.
All normal codex restrictions and limitations apply as well, and allied lists may be taken as your part of the team (sorry, no making one big 'allied' list). Your partner will NEVER benefit from your wargear, unit selection, or special rules and you won't from theirs. Your ICs cannot join their units, you cannot use their transports.
Non Codex (forgeworld, chapter approved) units are not allowed, although the models may be used if they are clear on what codex unit they represent. ANY model that is clearly significantly different then what it is supposed to be may be forced to be played as how it is modeled, if it becomes illegal then you might have to play without it. Conversions are GREAT and encouraged, and missing a knife or grenades is perfectly fine, saying a CCW Lascannon dread is a missile launching hurricane bolter dread or a squad of demons are actually noise marines is NOT ok.
Players must have the following: Their army, their rulebook and any applicable codices, their own tape measure, dice, templates, and army lists (printed). A printed Army list is a must, and it must be correct (it will be checked and cheating will NOT be tolerated). Multiple copies are encouraged. Players are encouraged to bring objective markers, though not required.
