Incoming! Blood Angels This April the Blood Angels will be re-launched with an all-new Codex and range of plastic and metal miniatures. One of the oldest and noblest of all Space Marine Chapters, the Blood Angels have stood fast against the enemies of the Imperium since the Great Crusade and it was their Primarch Sanguinius, who laid down his life to aid the Emperor against Horus in the final hours of the Warmaster’s rebellion. The new Codex explores the background and history of these superhuman warriors like never before, and contains new artwork depicting some of their greatest battles and most powerful champions. The Blood Angels have always been a powerful close combat army and have been made even deadlier thanks to a range of specialist wargear, the ability to field Assault Squads as Troops choices, and more Dreadnoughts than any other Space Marine Chapter, including a Death Company Dreadnought and the fabled Furioso Dreadnought. What this was a chapter of whiny scared jerks who didn't do their job! Thats right they were to busy hiding under the Emperor's skirt that they didn't do the job of a space marine legion. That job? Conqueror the Galaxy for the Emperor! The ultramarines took over planets from earth all the way to the far side of the galaxy. even the Space wolves and Dark angels were to successful at beating bad guys up that they couldn't make it back to Terra in time. (Thats right they were to busy being bad a$$es and conquering the galaxy) The imperial fists were at least the "Defenders of Terra" at least they should have been there. Blood angels are a chapter that hides behind the emperor and the Imperial fists and when its time to step up and fight what does their Primrch do? Yup, get gacked by Horus. those jump packs are not for assaulting or fighting others they are for a more convenient way to hide behind the Imperial fists! We need a codex for a bad a$$ chapter not Blood Angels. Black Templar should have gone first. |

I don't recall any stories of the Imperial Fist Primarch taking on a Bloodthirster and snapping his spine.

Black Templar should have gone first. I wholeheartedly agree. Of course, I think EVERY codex update should be black templar. Maybe I'm just biased. |
