bostonbrawl.com/Check it out. Looks like a decent event they're going to put on right in Cambridge, MA. May 15-16th. Two day 40k / Fantasy Tourney. Short 6 hour drive for you Rochester folks and I'm sure we can talk Mrs. Hobin into letting some folks crash at casa de Hobin. Hobie 1

Im psyched there is gonna be a GT in Boston, hopefully this becomes an annual thing. However they scheduled it on the same day as the prelimary Ard Boyz Tournament! This will be the first year I can make it to the ard boys rounds so I think I'll throw my hat in that ring and sadly have to pass on this Boston tourney.
I'm sure it will sell out even so though, a big tournament in Boston is long overdue.

I definitely hear you on the Aardboyz tourney. For those of us who can't commit to possibly 3 or 4 weekends (depending on your success), this is definitely going to be a blast. From talking to the organizers, this definitely has the feel / look of a "Adepticon" type event. Good people running an event for gamers by gamers.
I know alot of us oldtimers definitely favor the old school all around scoring system versus just bring the strongest army and crush. To each their own but hopefully we can get 5 - 10 guys from upstate to come support. Plus, could be a good long term mutually beneficial relationship for the Da Boyz GT. Hope to see some guys there and only $50 for 2 days of gaming!

Looks like Im going down, the wife and I are gonna turn it into a mini vacation. She has family there anyway, so I can game to my hearts content for those 2 days.
We are gonna fly down, so if anyway that might drive down could transport my army let me know.
Would be nice to have a strong DaBoyz presence there.

Just wanted to remind everyone about this 2000 pt. tourney.
They will be using adept-icon rules and mishes.
Me and the wife are going to also make a vacation out of it. Would be nice to get some other peeps to make the trip.
From what I read, comp scores are almost non-existent, of course I'm going to be a thingy and take a very compy, well-themed list.
I have even seen a player that doesn't want painting or sportsmanship judged as well(they will be).
We need to show peeps that u can be competitive in a tourney with a well-rounded compy list.
Im glad its the same weekend as the 'Ard Boyz tourney, so all the mindless drones can put together an unimaginative list that requires no skill and tactics can go somewhere else and not to this tourney.
1 'Ard Boyz tourney was enough for me.

Army lists must be e-mailed to them for prejudging by May 1st, and thats also when online reg. will end.
