I will check with Shaun on sunday but my thoughts are...
1) There will be a tourney Dec 3. 2) We will start at 12 sharp, I will see if I can get the store open early for set up and registration. 3) $10 (5 for prizes/ 5 for pizza) 4) Xenos armies only, meaning no Chaos, Inquisition or Marines, nothing with a 3+ standard armor save (except Necrons). For players without a Xenos army, please contact me and we will make arrangements. 5) Points total - To be determined, feel free to suggest total you might like to play 6) Three rounds, no comp scores 7) This is a fun tourney, let's all have some fun with our armies and our lists.

Bugs are not a problem as the standard save is not 3+. All the units you mentioned are not Troops, which would be the standard. Necrons are the only army with a 3+ standard save allowed.

Thanks Ranger Dude for replying, hope you can make the next event, it's been a while since you played. Even C4 has been known to appear periodically. ;D ;D ;D Where can I get information on Xenos Wars? Or can some post something here that would help me make an army list! If it has been posted already, lead to it! HAVE A NICE DAY, CIAO!

Dragon, I think you are reading too much into this. All that you need to know for Xenos wars is to avoid MArines and Chaos Marines. Probably sisters. Basically, if it's alien or guard, you're ok. Just make an army with that in mind.
Sundays aren't good for me anymore. Too many other commitments. Once this semester is over, I should be able to make thursday nights again. I've also been keeping my eyes open for Saturday tournies. I'm not gaming enough and I know it.

No comp or Painting scores? or just comp?
Thinking of busting out the Bugs for this one.

OK, the point cost has been decided.
1321
Painting and comp are not required. I would like to see the first of the month tourneys go back to being a fun competition like they were for a short time. Everyone please use a little self restraint and bring a fair army. As you may have noticed we do have a group of younger players who show up and play regularly. Just because we aren't grading on sportmanship does not give anyone the right to play an unsporting army. Let's leave the WAAC armies home for a week and have some fun, no skimmer walls, no falcon armies, no all suit tau, etc. Build your armies around your basic troop types and please let's have some fun!

In regards to the standard 3+ save...
What my original intent was when posting "no 3+ saves" was to qualify armies being used. I want to see Xenos armies for a change, no the usual armies most of use play. If your Xenos army has a 3+ save, use it but don't abuse it either. Necrons have no choice, but Tau do have fire warriors, Tyranids have gaunts and rippers, and Eldar have guardians, etc that do not have a 3+ standard save. Let's see some of these units used. I don't want to see marinehammer played this week that is all, we can go back after this one week to our usual armies. Next month we can do a gladiator tourney if you like, no holds barred, etc whatever everyone wants, but this months lets try something new.

Here's an idea, we could give a prize for comp solely based on an army's fairness and attention to fluff. Overall winners would still get their usual prize based on battle and victory points but maybe a prize could be given to someone who "get's it" and brings a fun army to play against? Comments?

While I won't be able to make the tourney, I do like the idea of a "Player's choice" or some such. Something to reward someone who brought a great army. It's an idea to be explored, so have at it Doug.

I'll definitely play. I just don't think my army will be "fluffy" insomuch as it will be a "This is what I've got that is remotely assembled" army. But that should be fine. I think my army will feature a whopping single model that has a 3+ armor save (yay for autarchs).

I'm going to go ahead and say yes, there should be plenty of room for everyone and the more the better IMHO.
But thats just me, I could be vetoed by SoB
