Greetings Brothers,
I am currently trying to put together about 6-12 Imperial Guard artillery pieces for my Guard army. I have just about no Game Workshop materials though, just some cities of death spare parts. I thought about using candy boxes, but that did not really turn out so hot. I am thinking about trashing those and trying some other ones.
Does anyone have any idea of how to make the following, or at least some converted piece that could be used as one of the following:
1) Colossus 2) Basilisk 3) Manticore 4) Medusa 5) Deathstrike 6) Griffon
If anyone has some good ideas about how to put these things together from scratch, let me know. I would greatly appreciate any help. The tourney I want to use them in is on March 7th, so I Was hoping to get it done soon although that is not looking so likely now.

There are a couple of different papercraft groups on yahoo that have templates for many different sci-fi vehicles including a bunch from GW. And I don't seem to have any links for them currently, go figure. I would totally recommend using sheet styrene/plasticard. Comes in a couple of different thicknesses and using polystyrene cement will glue more solid than superglue. In additoion to the sheets they have a bunch of different pre-made shapes like girders, tubes and stuff. Because it is more durable than cardstock it takes a little bit of getting used to when cutting. You can get the stuff at Dan's up on Empire. There are a bunch of dedicated IG scratchbuilders on the Work in Progress forum. s11.invisionfree.com/Work_In_Progress/
