Some Ideas:

I like this one:
Squad to Squad fighting day. Make ONE Troop choice of no more than 200 points to battle your opponents.

Played on 4X4 table with a slew of terrain. Probably can get in 4-6 games


Tank Battle: Team Match
Bring 1 Tank/Vehicle squad or squadren of no more than 250pts
Make teams, throuw a slew of terrain on a huge table and go at. Last team standing wins

sounds like fun. Maybe also a character death match. 1 HQ choice (with retinue?) of no more that 200 (500 if we're doing retinues).

Since the troop choice battle is completely separate from the tank battle, I assume that selections for each battle can come from different armies, any army under the rules of that army.

EXAMPLE: TANK BATTLE; MONOLITH "PINK WITH DAISIES"


TROOP SQUAD; 10 GRAY KNIGHTS, "FLUFFY & PUFFY"
AND GLOW IN THE DARK.

OF COARSE, I OWN NONE OF THESE JUST AN EXAMPLE.

Remember, a Carnifex is a tank, so it looks like Jay & Silver Dragon in the last round with the biggest & baddest Carnies. At 250 points only a Leman Russ variant would have a chance, you can figure out which one.
Land Raiders are hosed @ 250 points for a lot of reasons.
Change the tank max. value to 300 points so every army has a burley choice, or face the burley terror. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

OR JUST DO IT THE EASY WAY: ELDAR FALCON (115), SHURIKIN CANNON (10), PULSE LASER, BRIGHT LANCE (30), HOLO-FIELDS (35), VECTOR ENGINES (20), STAR ENGINES (15), SPIRIT STONES (10)=235 points. HAY TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY 15 POINTS!

SO MAY THE BEST ELDAR DICE ROLLER WIN, THATS IF ALL THE 5 WOUND REGENERATING CARNIFEX'S ARE KILLED, YA SURE.

IF YOU WANT TANK STRATEGY TO BE FUN PLAY 3 AGAINST 3, BUT WITH ONE RESTRICTION, 2 OF THE SAME TANK ONLY, SAME DEAL WITH THE SQUAD GAME.

Carnefexs are NOT Vehicles thus you cannot bring one. Vehciles of 250 is a fine number. If you want to bring a land raider thats your problem. This is not ment to be acomidating to those that want to tool out thier land raider. In a tank battle 14 all around armor is an advantage. You are allowed 250 points it doesnt mean you have to spend all the 250 points. I dont think anyone can unless you bring a land raider.

This was ment for fun, not for Dragon to see how he can tool out another list.

Yes they are completely seperate and you can use any list you want.

And if your would actually read the post, its a team match up and a large scale battle, not a tournement per se.

40k in a flash would be fun too!

Dragon let me explain to you. These are just ideas thown out into the open. I could refine them if people showed intrest.

The Tank battle is supposed to be a TANK BATTLE with VEHICLES NOT MONSTROUS CREATURES.

yes tyranids would be excluded. If you want to run a Monsterous creature battle thing, then go for it.

Let me try to explain this 2 team thing to you...

2...More than one, less than 3, a Couple or Pair.

Teams....People with the same goal, affiliations or objective in this case.

Would fight each other until one team is a winner....hope that helps.

Dont show, or play your rhino, either way, I dont care.
