Anyone else plan on going to the team tourney this Saturday in Syracuse? My son and I will be going as a team and as I have a mini-van I can easily take 4 other people to help save on gas.

I know Horst expressed interest in carpooling but if anyone else would like to tag along please let me know and we can work out a meeting place. Preferably some place in Henrietta as I am coming from LeRoy.

Horst, Millennium works for me as well. What time works best for meeting? When did you leave Rochester when you went last month? Does 8:30am sound like a good meeting/departure time?

Chumby, I have room for 2 more if you want to tag along. Do you have a partner set or are you working on finding someone to tag along?

My son and I are looking to test out our 1000 point armies on Tuesday at Millennium. Anyone want to meet up and give our list a go? We can either do a 2 on 2 match at 1000 pts or we can go against someones 2000 pt list. We are running a DE/Chaos list and can be at Millennium anytime between 6 - 6:30pm

well, the tournament starts at 11:00... I'd aim to arrive at 10:30, and its a 1:30 drive, conservatively, so I'd figure meet at millennium parking lot at 9:00am?

Trying to decide between these 3 SW lists, any input on which one (or what I should buddy up with) would be appreciated.

3x 5 Wolf Guard, WGT w/ cyclone, chainfist
2x 4 Fangs, 3 missile launchers
3 Fangs, 2 lascannons

Mini-Loganwing. Lots of missiles, lots of bodies, lots of scoring. If AV14 shows up, Logan and a WG join the lascannon team to make them S10.

Rune Priest w/ Living Lightning, Tempest's Wrath, Chooser
6 Wolf Guard, 2 w/ powerfist, WGT w/ cyclone, chainfist, storm shield
2x 10 Grey Hunters, 2 meltas, power weapon, Mark of the Wulfen, Wolf Standard
3x 4 Long Fangs, 3 missile launchers (would need to borrow a missile dude from somebody)

2 big units walk up to midfield and do mean things to people while the Fangs with extra bodies and the solo cyclone go to work at range.

Light on the scorers (relying on my ally, of course) but I've got 2 ridiculously killy and mobile CC units with cheap suppression fire coming from 3 separate units.

Should be fun.

Yeah, the plan is to meet at 9:00am at Millennium. So far it will be Me, my son, Horst, Terry and chumby. I can fit 1 more comfortably and an additional body uncomfortably.

Chumby, I can't comment on your lists as the last time I faced off against SW was at the last Da Boyz GT, before the new codex came out.

I'll be bringing my somewhat standard chaos list and my son will be playing DE

If you're still looking for a partner, I'd be down to team up. My partner bailed on me, so I'm free and clear. I'm planning on bringing my Dark Eldar:

Dracon - pistol, agonizer, combat drugs, shadow field
6 wyches - 2 blasters, succubus w/ agonizer, raider w/ horrorfex + trophy racks
2X 5 man raider squad - dark lance, blaster, raider w/ horrorfex
5 man raider squad - dark lance, raider w/ horrorfex
5 man raider squad - splinter cannon, shredder, raider w/ horrorfex
2X Ravager - 3 disintegrators

My lances should be able to handle a modest amount of AV 14, so if you want to slant towards CC that would be cool. PM me if you're interested.
