Huge thanks to everyone who showed up for the 40k teams on 7/24.

We had 32 players show up which i think is the biggest we've ever had at PtG or Altered States.

I will definitely book another one in either November or December!

After talking with you guys I will also try to have a bigger presence here. Plus if you have some cool events or even the mundane ones coming up, let us know on the Syracuse Boards. I would definitely be up for coming to Rochester.

Yeah, that was a good time for sure. The new space was massive, it'll be great seeing it when it's all done. Everybody there was in good spirits and any rules issues were solved quickly and amicably. My only real problems were the time, we went so long it was nuts (didn't get done until 8-8:30, brutal) and no resolution for draws, having a winner every game is much more definitive and helps prevent 2-way ties for 2nd place

Tim and I went 1-1-1. First game our dice abandoned us, so I picked up a mini Buddha at the 99 cent store for $1.50. It changed everything and I'll be keeping it around.

yea, me and terry tied with orville and ron for second. In the end, 3 teams were 2-0 going into the last round, so we got paired with the other rochester team.

after a long and brutal game, orville consolidated out of combat onto an objective we held to contest it, while ron had 5 orks holding an objective, and we had 1 tac marine and like 12 orks holding another objective. Then we ran out of time, so the game was over

We tabled our first two opponents though, so we had a fairly successful day.

Haha 15 missiles and 9 lances, and we only killed 2 vehicles all day. Outside support was required. And I was a bonehead in the last game, I should've boosted my Raiders up first turn.

A fun time though. Seeing that one dude almost completely tweak after we killed/pinned his entire army in one turn was priceless.
