Anybody play it? Anybody looking to start up? Giant magic steampunk robots looks super rad, as does an army for under 100 bucks. I've heard good things about the latest rules and it could be a fun and quick alternative to 40k to keep things fresh.

good game, hordes is also another great non-GW mini game, it's interesting because its outside of the box in terms of its game mechanics but it is pretty awesome
not as good as fantasy or 40k but both provide a smaller scale, cheaper alternative so nobody gets burned out playing 40k every waking moment, and at millenium we might even see everyone with fully painted forces

I have a couple of hordes armies (Circle and Legion). I only played a few games, but both forces are near completely painted. I don't have the current ruleset though.
I'll be up for the GT. If you want to try out a game or two, let me know and I'll bring up my stuff. I'm sorry to say I can't make it much before then.

I know this is an old thread, but I just moved back to town and I'm looking for people to play warmachine/hordes with. Is there anyone in Rochester who plays?
If there isn't a big community here, I'd really like to get together with some of the players in the area to talk about how we can grow it.
Anyone interested?

Hey I just got back from NOVA and picked up Warma Hordes. I'm a Malifaux Henchman and looking into Press Ganger status so I'd love to get together, play a few games & talk about growing a community.
Feel free to drop me a PM and I'll toss you my email & phone number.
