I would highly recommend this Tournament! Shaun and I went last year. They will sell out. They did last year. For a overnight tournament it is cheap. It is about three hours away. The only downfall is you need a passport or a special license. Info: September 18th, 2010 Doubles Tournament September 19th, 2010 Rogue Trader Tournament www.warmasterschallenge.com/node

And we can enjoy all the finest Canadian beers.
I wonder, can one enter both the doubles and singles? That would be quite the weekend.

Last page of the player packet states the player with highes combined score from both days receives the FW Greater Daemon so I'd say yup.
I'd love to do both, but I would prolly still go just for the singles event.

Forgive my noobness, but does "Rogue Trader Tournament" mean anything other than high painting/presentation standards?

Hey folks,
I'm one of the canucks involved with the event. Whether the rogue trader portion has "high standards" for presentation or not I would leave up to you to decide. Check out the web site for details on how we grade it. We're looking for nice models but there are a lot of easy points to pick up, too.
Worth mentioning that the beta versions of the doubles scenarios are out (yeah, website again) for you to try. We love feedback and have thick skin, so don't be shy. If nothing else, a read through ahead of time might help you tailor your lists for maximum benefit.

If anyone is stuck for a partner or is concerned about losing a partner at the last minute (it happens) then get a hold of us at Warmasters and we can set you up with a partner. In any event, we will have ringers on hand to play.

Probably a no-brainer for most, but if you don't have a current passport, get your Enhanced Driver's License now. It takes a little time and is a bit of a hassle gathering all of the ID you need.
