Hi We have reached 35 Teams for the Doubles and 56 players for the Singles. We are on track for this to be the biggest Warmaster’s Challenge yet! We have updated the doubles scenarios based on feedback so far, and have added the Singles scenarios to the resources section of the 40K Challenge. Regarding the Singles Scenarios, we focused on keeping it close to standard 40K, but with a potential for 100 players and just 4 rounds, we needed to use the primary, secondary, tertiary style with bonuses to create separation. We have accumulated over $3000 in prizes and that pile is growing. Visit www.warmasterschallenge.com to find out more. Cheers, Nate

get a passport and go. I am surprised no has even team up with hyv3mynd. You don't need to play the same army. all you need is a 1000 points. And if you don't want to mix, then use just one person army. 2000 points is not much different then 1850. If you play another race/army it will make you a better player.

I'm considering it, it all depends on how my finances shake out with medical bills, school and moving into a new place.

anyone else signing up from our area.
Terry ? Jeremy? Rob? Aaron?
There event is very similar to ours without COMP. Oh i said it no composition.
If you are thinking to be going to adepticon for the team tournament next year this is a good event to attend because it has a lot of the similar feel to it.
Shaun and I are signed up.

No partner yet for team side. I'd prefer to play with someone I know. I have been working over some nasty nid + combos for team tourneys but my model collection is still pretty limited.
I may still head over for the singles event.
With time flying I have to prioritize in a way that doesn't interfere with me being ready for the gt.

Hi We are closing in on the 100 player mark for the doubles, at 48 teams! We broke the 70 player barrier for the singles. We have upped the prize pile to $4000 worth of stuff. Regarding comp, we don't have comp scoring, but we do have theme scoring that you need to take care of. Unlike Adepticon, we allow an adversaries path to explain why your two forces have come together. Time for some good natured trash talk For those of you at Da Boyz GT last year, we came down and took most of your prizes. It is your turn to come up here and put us upstart Canucks in our place. As good as Jay and Shawn are, they can't take all the prizes by themselves! They need help. If you guys can pull off the heist, it will motivate the 10-12 of us that are coming down to the Da Boyz GT to exact our revenge! Cheers, Nate

Still up in the air, but if I do go I'd team up with you.

This is how much Shaun and I recommend Warmasters to the local community. I decided that if you attend Warmasters you will get $20 of a purchase off a ticket at DaBoyz GT. You will get $10 credit if you have already purchased a DaBoyz GT ticket.

Jay- How did you and Shaun do? I'm seeing batreps pop up on other sites but no mention of DaBoyz yet.
Fill us in.

Shaun and I did great in the Team Tournament. We came in second in general. We only lost by one point. We wanted to practice our armies for next years AdeptiCon. But we already decided for next year we are going to read the information in the packet to get the extra points and plan out our armies better.
For single event I was doing great until the last game. Orks were killing MC left and right. I underestimated ork nobs.

Glad you guys did well in the team event.
Orks give me trouble as Nids also. Especially the 3BW+DR, Ghaz, KFF lists and I hear there were several of those cloned at Warmasters. My bud plays the same list and I lose 9/10 games against it.

Hi
DaBoyz did well in the race for the golden tickets which were for the top two players for the weekend.
Jay came in seventh overall with 399 points, just 7 points back from the second ticket. Unfortunately, he stumbled in the final round.
Shaun came in tied for fourteenth overall with 382 points, and I believe it was Fateweaver that spoiled his day in round three of the singles.
Overall, a fine showing by DaBoyz.
While I am at it - thanks to Jay and Shaun for bringing up 3 tables worth of terrain to help out. Looking forward to returning the favour at DaBoyz GT.
Cheers, Nate
